Seriously, there is no indication of selling and people here are selling euro...whenever a top or bottom reaches, most of the time market range for certain time and then the breakout happens...

People are trying to find tops and bottoms...that is not proper trading according to me...

Let it settle first...

regarding fti's thread, i have read it from the first page to the latest posts. his rescuing technique is good, i use it but not as it is, with some modification. keep reading his thread, especially about rigidity, maybe that will cure your "outsmarting" problem

this is the weekly...what would people be doing if that was a hourly or 4H chart after such a waterfill spill downward? i know id be looking for a 50% bounce

As I understand it, you use multiple later (better) entries & average them in with 1 bad entry at a time & then close them out at the averaged BE, or BE +. Kind of a martingale technique it seems, which is very risky as if you are wrong, you just multiplied your losses. Your results will vary. I have not read his entire thread yet. FTI did say it took his new hires about 2 years to get it & he was right there teaching them, so tread carefully.

they will not get it and will always have smelly fingers because of "picking". you said the right thing: let it settle first. watch how price will play out the current level at least on 1h tf if not 4h and then act accordingly

there is one exception between long term chart and short time frame: central banks will not intervene a 4H chart.

The EUR/USD broke above the 1.1214 resistance level today and reached 1.1221, so i see that it has a chance to go higher tomorrow.

i was asking for bad euro numbers tomorrow but the tsiparis resignation may be all thats needed for the runup to .1400...hasnt seemed to phase e/u so germany must have orchestrated it by buying him off


Under the Greek constitution, if the PM resigns the mandate to form a government is passed to the largest opposition party, for three days.
So Evangelos Meimarakis of New Democracy could spend the weekend trying to form a minority government to replace Tsipras’s administration, as he just pledged.
If he fails, the mandate would then transfer to the second-largest opposition party -- currently the extreme right-wing Golden Dawn.
Creating a minority government would be rather challenging, as Syriza holds 149 of the 300 seats in the Greek parliament.
