those playing bullish 1168 is an ideal stop loss i feel if there is a pull back comes above 1.1200 for trapping bears from the current level of 1193

4 trades are closed at Net Loss.

As I mentioned above that last two trades are connected to few running trades so If I include profit of last two trades - loss of 4 trades then = Breakeven.
But I close trades on loss because there is no such system without loss. In last 3 months it is my first loss and a new experience.
My new targets are below:

Bullish Target = 1.1250
Bearish Target = 1.1050

It does not matter where price go, I will track it like 007

I don't think you do know. You have to figure out what works for you. Some people like to short every HH & put tight SL, then move it to BE when they can. One hit of 50 pips clears out 10 5-pip losers. Some people like to find the trend on a higher timeframe and follow the move. Today I was looking for longs to reload (didn't get any after 1170 but I didn't stay in front of computer) until I saw the 61.8% retrace to 1.1213 (actually at 1209, which I shorted with tight SL & got lucky). For me, I look mostly for ABCD moves. This most recent down move was 1220-1190 (30 pips) & 1213-1183 (30 pips). I got out earlier (1198) b/c bulls looked strong to me & I have bull bias this week & expect to keep it next week also.

I use macd for trend & over time have started to think I have a pretty good idea when it is telling me the truth, but I get fooled often. I compare time frames to check trend. Example, 1H, 4H, daily & weekly trends are all heading up right now on macd. But intraday trends 30M and under are going down (watch the 5m!).

the point is, you practically can't short on a higher high because nobody has a clue what/where the high is until after the fact price retraces/reverses. the same issue with top or bottom pickers. price can move thousands pips in one go like with chf and make the top/bottom pickers lose everything.

our problem is we think we can outsmart the market and try to be a step ahead. we see here fake gurus posting pip to pip accurate trades against the trend as if they know the turning points. but they do not tell you something - the ugly truth what they are doing is the quickest way to lose the account.

Indeed, EUR/USD is testing the previous high at 1.1213 and should it manage to break above that level it will likely continue rising at least until it reaches the resistance at 1.1400.

I'm always trying to outsmart the market! It seems the alternative is losing money when the market outsmarts you. As for the gurus/fake gurus, so what. If they are for real, then maybe they will give us something of use. If not, they won't. We make our own trades. Someone (Pharmor?) sent me to the Technical Analysis Fallacy thread, which I read some of, and the idea I have taken from that is that it is not only possible, but necessary to find the flow of the market waves and to follow those waves. The writer of that thread claimed to have worked with a bank as a market maker/dealer and talked about mainly trading with the trend so that when it goes against you, you can send soldier in to rescue your bad entries. Very risky, yes, but a method they used. I'm still looking into that. Lot sizing seems to be most important for me, along with patience and defensive trading. There will always be new setups to take, so the better we get at recognizing trend changes, the better off we will be.
