some people trade oil. if you have TD Ameritrade ThinkOrSwim, why not add the market profile (TPO profile) to see where the major S/R is located?

1.12 will still be a hard resistance to break, but if broken will give EUR the strength up. Though quite unlikely, so I'll be loading up shorts if it does go higher.

ive gotten some pm's asking to explain the "dummys guide for targets" LOL

im gona use the 5 min. e/u chart from the fed leak today

as u can see in the first chart i marked the UP green candles in a uptrend that were LV...price retraced to the open/lows found support and advanced...the second chart shows this evening with more LV candles after that pop few hours ago...the last LV candle was broken price continued down and who knows if its gona get back above or when. do the same to red candles in a downtrend

now what u guys need to understand that the LV candles r targets for retests,retraces and rebounds lol...its not an entry/exit system tho i guess if u want to complicate things u might be able to do it.

the other thing id like to stress is find an approach that suits ur personality....if ur a laidback beer drinking lebowski type that wears sailboat shirts and boils down everything to its simplest form this might appeal to u. now if ur the mathemethical minutiae rube goldberg idea type than do something like navk(no offence meant navk) LOL

what i mean is theres fibos pivots ma's pesovantos harmonics EA's and a 100 other type of complicated ways to calculate targets... find a method that suits u and go with it

so put the kids to sleep kiss the wife goodnight and fire up mt4 and go to any hourly chart and do what i showed u and ull be a support resistence expert....so do some homework

heres the hourly....a close below that candle price may retrace all the way down to the point of the fed leak


do it on the 4H and u have ur targets and support resistence levels for the rest of the week

on your first picture, the first candle, which you marked (the third green) is not a LV (low volume) candle? It has a big volume?

Everyone's trying to devalue their currency in anticipation for a Fed hike, so where's that inflation is gonna come from for Fed? They are not gonna get 2% inflation before they get 0%/negative inflation. Import price will collapse, imported good replace marginal domestic production, services are outsourced. The world is so competitive in a bad way, that everyone is trying to out-cheat the other, what a sad joke!

its a lower volume candle than the preceding one....thats what i meant sorry....by LV i dont mean some fixed amount just that its lower than the preceding one
