first i wanna thank you for this ea an there is a bug in the ea the exit by opposite candle is on but it doesnt exit

Dear MathTrader7,

I tested your EA 3.35 and it worked fine. However, it takes only BUY, not SELL. Would you check it as well? So far, your Renko EA is the best because you have many parameter that the user can change upon their strategies. In my opinion, I think there is small thing need to improve (I'm sorry if others have mentioned it already, because I couldn't read all the 70s posts).

1) Eventually, if you can set parameter of #brick to enter trade is even better because with Renko we can trade in different size of brick for example we can set 2 pips per brick, 5 pips per brick, 10 pips per brick, etc. So, the enter/setup trade strategy is also depended on #pips of brick we set. For example, if we set 2 pips per brick, we should enter earlier, one brick closed after the brick with opposite color (i.e enter at open of the 2nd brick).

2) Another thing, can you put one more option about trailing SL? Is it possible that we can trail SL to next high/low? I don't know the code works. I'm sorry for this comment.

Greetings traders!

I was reading this post for the past two days and found out so many useful information. I was willing to start testing ea that was founded here, but post http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...64#post8181864 about "renkoMaker confirm" really got me interested, so I wanted to test it out. I have done manual back testing for year 2014. for 5 pairs and results are outstanding!

The idea is simple. I use 10 pip renko chart and only "RenkoMaker confim" indicator. Go long/short when indicator is pointing up/down, exit when indicator went in another direction and immediately go long/short, and so on. The 10 pips brick has to be closed to enter and exit a position. I hope I gave enough explanation. Take a look at a pic to make it more clear.

Let me show you the results I got for year 2014.:
1. EUR/JPY
165 trades = 60 loss (including trades that gave 0 pips gain/loss), 105 win
9540 pips profit - 840 pips loss = 8700 pips of profit
Biggest loss - 50 pips
Biggest win - 430 pips

2. AUD/USD
112 trades =38 loss (including trades that gave 0 pips gain/loss), 74 win
4660 pips profit - 530 pips loss = 4130 pips of profit
Biggest loss - 40 pips
Biggest win - 350 pips

3. EUR/GBP
28 trades = 8 loss (including trades that gave 0 pips gain/loss), 20 win
1720 pips profit - 170 pips loss = 1550 pips of profit
Biggest loss - 40 pips
Biggest win - 250 pips

4. EUR/USD
79 =29 loss (including trades that gave 0 pips gain/loss), 50 win
4930 pips profit - 400 pips loss = 4530 pips of profit
Biggest loss - 40 pips
Biggest win - 540 pips

5. GBP/USD
102 trades =29 loss (including trades that gave 0 pips gain/loss), 83 win
6960 pips profit - 320 pips loss = 6640 pips of profit
Biggest loss - 40 pips
Biggest win - 480 pips

The results are raw, without commission, slippage, swap, spreads. Either way it looks very promising. The main problem is that this has to be done automatically, so it requires appropriate EA. So, if anyone is willing to give a try to make a EA for this idea we can do a forward testing and see how it really goes. Open a chart and take a look by your self. I thank in advance.

"The RenkoMaker confirm" indicator repaints a lot, Try it in live and you will see.

RenkoMaker confirm is just Fisher transform which is a repainting indicator...

Hello i am Donald and new at forex. I have been reading this forum and installed the expert.
What i like about it that there is not a big fall down in pips.
Is it possible to backtest.

Dear Pipbabe . It only trades on Renko charts just try it if you have not tried it with Renko,

Thank you for your response. Yes I did.. I put the EA onto offline Renko charts, and it doesn't trade at all (of course, smiley face is on!) . This looks really promising, I definitely want to use it on my live account. Does anybody have any idea what might be wrong???

I have installed the expert from mathtrader7.
Mathtrader7 RenkoChartCreator1.4 and Mathtrader7 3.35.
What might be the best proffible way to set the expert for the eur/usd?

Hi, go to the properties of the Renko chart or press function key F8, uncheck the Offline Chart to activate the chart ~ check the Offline Chart to deactivate it. Hope it help.

Suggestiom for MathTrader7 - I can't know your code but looking in dependencies I see int PostMessageA(int,int,int,int). Here is discussion about it and probably a solution - http://forum.mql4.com/62761#954637 . I believe that one edit in your code could solve the problem with trading.

Do you need the Renko Blocks Generator or the Expert Advisor for trading?
Mine works well, both on Forex, Indexes and Commodities....
