Was doing that literally for years...... and it's just a total disaster. Now my trading is more about finding that nice spot to put the SL and relax!
of course I still make mistakes and get a bit groggy every now and then when mr. market slaps me around

Well, today it was an example of 'Bullish market sentiment' but the trend is still down. Market sentiment is crowd psychology...everyone follows something and not necessarily based on fundamentals.

Dollar is still the strongest currency.

If lets say, market goes up to 1.2000 - tomorrow - b/c some big institutions are purchasing EUROS - still - it doesn't change the fact that the long term trend is down. In another words i would still look to short...The trick here is your entry! This is why intra-day trading is the hardest and brokers loves you.

In a trending environment like today you might want to use Fibo to check where it will bounce etc.. In a ranging market check Pivots!

Anyway, if everyone knew where exactly prices went every day most retail traders would not lose money :-)

look like in this market whatever profit visible after short one should take it, else it will disappear with in minutes..

I didn't go beyond my MM rules, just used manual stops. I hate being the sitting duck waiting for the sweeps. I'd rather watch closely and manual stop. Intraday I use stops, but these were mid-term trades. I am not lamenting the $ loss as much as the lost time and my over-eager positioning.

Maybe your account is not on ECN or one of your accounts who knows.. too many dodgy brokers! Who cares anyway...if you keep making money consistently then they should in theory dump you onto ECN.
