Added one more long at .1190 since the momentum favors the bulls.

If 1.1216 and 1.1278 are taken, there is little to stop this running up to 1.14
Why sell the bottoms when you can buy the tops...

Good time of the day guys and girls. Does anyone use Elliott Wave? Do you mind sharing your count for this rise? To me it looks overlapping/choppy. I am confused.

Bleh, did not see the Yuan devaluation coming (so many factors to account for - this one was not on my radar... another lesson...sigh). The timing of said devaluation could not have been more tricky (for me) vis a vis the last NFP# and the expectation of the next leg down. I expected the short squeeze after NFP to maybe get to 1.112x-1.114xx, but this last peek above 1.12 forced me to close 2 of 3 of my EUR/USD shorts (the oldest and best positioned at 1.124xx from last days of June and an add-on I made post-NFP at 1.10). My remaining position is under water and I will dump it and take a nasty loss should it appear to seriously threaten 1.128xx (which may be in the cards this week). At least I'm getting better at not death-gripping a lost trade. I'm getting closer to the point where I can close a large losing trade without a major emotional reaction (still working on having no emotional reaction). Not wanting to have to practice that too much, though.

Mistakes: having expectations in the first place, adding a short when I should have waited for the squeeze (that I knew would happen) to play out completely, not giving enough weight to the chaos involved in this upcoming massive structural change (FED rate increase after 10yrs.), not being tuned into PRC/Yuan instability and its wide-ranging effects, etc.

If we close above 1.12 today I will close all and go flat for a while until we get closer to 1.14 or into September.
