GJ H1 trade, Price trending HH/HL so waited LO retracement to subside, and entered with the breakout of previous highs on H1

Also had another 50 pips on EA long at LO, but thought to post this chart for NYO

You asked a good question!
1. of course there are few different between the templates but the core is TDI . f example in synergy you can add PAC channel that is a conservative way to take trade after breaking the PAC, but after several trades, you can identify the power of the PA without PAC.
Synergy pro TDI has Yellow line MBL that could be added to the Big E TDI. you can use this line to know the midterm trend and filter the crosses that are against the whole trend ! after several trades you see that there are several trades that green bounces when faces to MBL . so you can filter many trades !

You yourself should use both of them and see how they works and which of them fits you !

2. many traders are using this simple system but after month of adding more and more indicators, they will quit and say that we can not be profitable ! but this system is so simple. you should understand behavior of the angle crosses . then combine it with PA , Promise you that you will become a successful trader by combining TDI + PA

Dean Malone trades a similar method but it's very conserative... to slow for me and I had to pass on a lot of pips using his rules and he trades 15 min charts which I don't like...

If you want the Original TDI Indicator and HA candle indicator (Average Price Bars) go to the site above. They are free downloads. You can remove what you want...

Dean invented the TDI... and I removed all the extra lines to make it easy to look at and trade... same thing with his Synergy charts... I kept eliminating all the extras until we got down to what I trade now... no fluff. His charts and TDI are too busy for me... I like simplicity... He doesn't use the TDI the same way I do either...

After retrace to the channel that has been broken, Green crosses with good angle and break DOL with confirmation of H4

Infact i've no doubt about the integrity of the whole system. For the last six months or so i'm seeing the power of this system. I, likewise, understand the notions of PA+S/R+TDI. Yes! combination of these 3's is very effective.

My question was about the specific template used by BigE. Can a new trader be successful by using that template in the long run? If it's not, i will b interested in the reasons. If answer is Yes, than why the senior traders felt a need to change their template? Was that done, just for a "change" factor? OR there might be any other considerations?

Im not a senior member , but:
I use the original template from BIg E since about 10 months.
I have no reason to change it .. ,
and I only trade H4 and D1 with TMS
For smaller timeframes I still use my Dance/ Choros System what I hate in higher timeframes!
So I have no Idea what template to use in H1 to m1 !!.. for H4 and D1 I´m fix with it , it works fine .

After Price Breaks prev daily low and retrace to this level entered with confirmation of H4
Target 50 pips but price was going no where and DIV+ was forming ! so closed manually

H4 seems challenging to me but that's the TF suits my daily routine. Do you always go by the trend direction of W1 when you take trade
on H4? Many times I have seen W1 and D1 are in disagreement (D1 in retracement). Do you discard those trades?

For example, USDCAD
W1 bullish for very long term
D1 bearish (last 2 days were red)

Before taking H4 buy trade, would you wait for atleast one D1 bullish bar?

Good morning TMS folks!
It's 5am here...
I took a 5 days break from online forums and enjoy my summer vacation break. Also needed some time to concentrate on some ongoing project development work.
Hope you all manage to catch the big moves in the EUR/ccy pairs this week.
Looks like we have a lot more market liquidity this week and it will be good to be on the right side of the market.

While I need time to reply all the PMs and catch up with the past days posts, you folks trade safe.

Yes, it is possible to place your technical SL below that consolidation area.
My concern was that the Fibo retracement of the June low to the July high is also around that region and I usually do not like it when there is a Fib38/50 retracement zone to place my technical SL.

I know what you mean that the SL distance will reduce the positions size. The other way to calculate the trade position size when we trade with ME/ME is to use the ADR(100 days). using 0.2% risk and the 100-days ADR in pips, you can calculate the lot size. But when you build positions using this ADR-Lot-size method, you will have to know exactly where you want to cut loss should the market move against you. The exit strategy for this has to be different.

Was a risky trade, but according to up trend at m30, after break of prev daily high with big candle and with confirmation of H4
Close manually for +27

In continuation of up trend
buy for +35 pips after Green bounce and m30 crossed with good angle ! will buy again after breaking of prev D high !
Just look at Ema 50 and 200 ! both of them are coming up .

So simple! just fly with trend !
