I have read real funny article about Japan, where the author was arguying with precisely this (Long story short): Goal of abenomics is to unlock Japan of decades of deflation while simmultaneously prevent bond interest rates from rising. Unfortunately only inflation they got is via Oil (adjusted to weakening Yen) + Nikkei (thanks to massive intervention),.... and the rest of economy is stuck in deflation (wages etc). Good job Abe.

uj finally rising with eu drop..any bad u.s. news making eu drop is whats missing now.. hopefully we will see that after a final bounce from 0786/0774 (w/o a 0467 LL) to attempt 1122 ish... for a drop.. just speculating on 2 opposite formations allowing both to work..

on my chart (1min) there is also a gap about 9 pips at 10am NYT. A vacuum of liquidity at 10 am?

its a broke system.. they can't even make inflation at negative rates.. the debt to gdp is 200% plus.. it's like wiping your ass before u shit. it just dont make sense. they are basically borrowing money to sell toyotas to the u.s. market, cheaper than they can make them. with an aging population, high social cost and living on a volcano.. it shouldn't end well. and yet the yen wants to rise.. whats that say for the rest of the world?
