Yes, and this volume reflects (according to the anecdotal evidence I've read ) that that's when the pro trading desks are coming on line, even though you can, of course, do forex transactions in banks when they open, and actually even 24 hours around the clock. But if you know that big trading desks generating the highest volume of the day are coming on line at 9:30 do you want to take a position just before then? It depends on your trading style I guess but I think it's something to be aware of.

lol, I wish I lived in Europe so I can stay up every day to trade the London session. Now if I stay up for the London session, a few hours later I feel sleepy and have to miss the New York session

that blue line is the down trend just started at a lower pace. The down trend assumed a full pace starting July 2014. How we want the fast pace trendline to fit now is affected by the tip on Dec 16, 2014. It is my believing that things cannot be accurate to the pip, especially for such a large time span, if that tip on Dec 16, 2014 was up 20 or 30 pips, then your red line would look different

i guess.. i like black and white. when one continues to move the goal post. it will always make them right. until the drawdown between now and the first time it crossed can be a bitch.. lot of talk about these tl have been made, mostly once we crossed 1385 ish.. its since been to 0807.. black and white 500+ drawdown

Break of 1.0974 will come down to 1.0958 (this area will be tricky), if it will hold, then it will go up, otherwise, TP1 1.0924, TP2 1.0899

Up targets: 1.1008, then break of 1.1030 will lead price to 1.1102

if it opens -0964.. its probably not bullish month wise or week wise. its nfp week.. pump before nfp happens many times before friday

My take on where EUR/USD is heading over the next few hours: We'll be in a really tight range... unless we have a strong move up... but if that doesn't happen we're going down hard!

a pitchfork may work. i was just curious when he said the 5 times thing. it didnt fit my way of tl thoughts. its not my expertise, i was just wondering at what point should i not trade it as a tl.. i use them rarely unless i am looking for as many reasons as possible for a top or bottom. never alone just as another tool. i dont have a problem with others using them, its just not my way of trading w/o other reasons.

Excellent analysis. We, the U.S., have been an aggressor nation since the Korean war spawned by the foreign policy of the neo-conservatives who came into power in a strong way. The Democratic hawks if you will. Their purpose was to foist western democracy onto any country deemed necessary for the 'national interest' of the United States. Our forefathers were strict non-interventionists and America has pretty much been in that camp until WWII. For some reason, our government has never been too concerned about paying off war debt. That's why we don't feel it. It's been pushed onto our grandchildren.

Anyway, the USD is artificially strong now but the debt cannot be ignored. Yet most countries are in debt to their eyeballs as well so it makes the perception that economies are reasonably strong. The EU will head back up but not without going to parity, at least test the 1.04xx range. We are in a psychological area of the graph. Rolling the dice, I suspect parity.

weekly closed bearish doji
monthly clsoed bearish encompassing by 1pip each end
pick your poison weekly and monthly say down, my guess will go up anyway dangerous to trade mid doji unless trading for another weekly doji where both bull and bear can make pip, get the first pulse direction correct then pick reverse can win both ways get it wrong and lose both ways :nerd:

this hrly close will give me my weekly daily zones, am in @70 sl 59 1min to close will decide if I get some green pip or red trdading 1/5

It is from Frankfurt ( 2am est to NY 12 noon ) there is good volume.

After 3 pm EST, the PA tend to range / retrace. Easy pips can be made too.
