I apologise if I have misunderstood, but if you select all the following to "false" you are left just with the alerts column:

I'm glad you're enjoying MADdash.

Unfortunately, MetaTrader can only use whole numbers for font sizes, so my hands are somewhat tied on this one!

Almost there - all you need to do is force MADdash to redraw itself.
A simple way to do that is to open up MADdash input properties. You won't need to change anything, just viewing it is sufficient.

In looking for a pullback in the M1 timeframe, here is an approach I have been looking at, possibility of incorporating it into MADash?

I've found that when these conditions are fulfilled, odds are often quite good of a scalping signal -

Longs:

A. 40 or more previous M1 bars in a channel of
(1) 6 pips below the 200 LWMA and
(2) unlimited pips above the 200 LWMA.
- The closer the signal is to the 200 LWMA, the better the signal.
- 200 LWMA has a positive slope.
- 200 EMA would probably work just as well.

B. Within the past 10 bars or less, there has been a pullback of 7 or more pips, such as at A, B and C.

C. Stoch with a trough of 20 or less has turned up

Vice-versa for shorts as per FGHJ

* The condition noted in the 2nd chart below of
"D is in a trough of a wave pattern running parallel to the 200 LWMA;
E occurs after the end of that pattern --- not as reliable a signal"
is probably not very feasible to objectively code.

However, conditions A B and C above are more codable*, and if so,
- if an alert would pop up for these conditions A B and C are true, and when other MADash higher TF's are in synch,
- one would need to visually look at the chart and make a discretionary judgment call as to
if the wave pattern running parallel to the 200 LWMA condition was present.

* Ideally, the values of 40 bars, 6 pips for the channel, past 10 bars and 7 pips for the pullback, and Stoch 20/80 would not be hard coded, but be made variables to enable further testing for optimum values.

I don't believe in this kind of trading. Too many EAs have proven to be looser. What is the catch here it is not a MA of a pair it is the currency itself! We trade here currency strength, not a single pair.

Out of interest has anyone referenced this indicator as part of an EA or is everyone using it as a manual guide to help them enter trades?
