Don't get guys too excited with longs.
I won't suggest to go long from this point, it should pass 1.0996 to feel secure. Otherwise we are going down till 1.0877

Its hard to write it down, this comes from experience, when trend is bearish goes down differently.
Yesterday after every new low it would go back previous low, again make new low and get back to previous low. Shows not bear sign but buy at dips sign! Bearish is going down without covering gaps and leaving that gap open! That's why yesterday also cautious to short.

I have try to explain, maybe with video and chart can explain better. Also can post with other setups in the past. But sometime later.

And education is sold, experience can never be sold. I see you bought 10 lots at 300. Super awesome!

correlation does not work that way, if correlated prs tracked the same ,would be no point in have different pairs - a key to geting a green pip, is realize especially correlated prs with different currencies, often track like dominoes, one moves, followed by another then another etc if can see the pattern forming, can be used to trade, trade the tardy pr, can get good green pip, but requires patience

It's Friday (profit taking). And end of the month. I've read that EOM flows from Britain to the EU usually support the Euro. (check EG today.) I also once did a study (about a year ago) where I counted what happened on the last day of the month in EURUSD and (although unfortunately I dont have it any more) that was mostly true. Even where the day was one in a strong down trend and ended negative, that mostly happened after London went home, while during the day it went up. Then for a while this year they seemed to be spreading it out over the last day or two and not just the last day to keep things from getting too easy, but yesterday we didn't see it so I'm not surprised we're seeing it now.

I wouldn't suggest to short yet.

There are a few factors driving price up. Month end Euro demand, better than expected Core CPI driving bund yields, and we have a 2.23 Billion 1.100 options expiry set to roll off NY cut.

So far we can see how things can change in a sneaky way.. as I mentioned yesterday the sole desire of MM's is to get to 1.12.. for now this is just the beginning of a bullish trend. 1.0980 is the 10 day EMA... so this price will be visited later on again.. althoug price can also fall below it again the uptrend will remain.. for now I add to my longs if needed.. want to see a retrace before we go higher.. 1.0930 area could be a good place to add to your longs later on..

what you are describing is just normal market movement not some secret hidden pattern, when a level is broken it is nearly always retested before price moves on, highs and lows are levels just as much as pivots and trend lines.

I apologise if your holy grail is now further away than you thought

Well me too, but in the meanwhile it can easy chop my 0965 entries. My second SL for entries above is at 1,105, so hoping that one will hold.

I closed half @ 80 will let the rest run and maybe go out myself, rest of the day likely to be slow.

ADR for a long day is at 1017, and there's a few good R's between there and 1040 so I guess it should for today anyway. That's where I'm going to look to add a short, if it gets there in time to make a little off it. Not looking to hold a short from there over the weekend though I still have a partial from 1116.
