Yeah, kinda scares me sometime. I make a few pips at times, most of the time actually, things moving nice and smooth for awhile, and that's cool. But then when I think it's safe and I get all complacent... wham... a stupid spike that gets me stuck in a trade longer than I wanted. (Yeah I know I should use a S/L, but I usually don't.) Only the fact that up till now I'm only using tiny lot sizes allows me to hang in there without having to bail at a big loss, but I'm gonna have to figure out some other strategy before I start increasing lot sizes.

It depends on that particular pair at FF open. If the pair is at a useless "mid" level that doesn't impact direction then generally FF will leave it alone. If the pair is an important level and they can afford to play then they often will. Doesn't happen every day and every time obviously but it is dead obvious when they do. I have posted charts in the past with 20-30+ pip whipsaws with HH's and LL's when FF is at "play".

Hi, it maybe clearer to see the H&S in the smaller tf's, I may be seeing things due to bias of my TL but the same TL has played an important role in history so I go with it. I am looking for the completion of the ABCD on the 4hr chart starting HH from 10/7/15.

The Frankie head fake refers to Frankfurt going the opposite of London Open.

What's really happening is, first we have the ASX close which usually starts the process towards the Europe Equity Open. After Australia, there's the Japan, HK, and Shanghai staggered take profit before their markets close, which overlaps with the Eurex Open and Frankfurt, the Short Sterling Open and then the European Equities Open. So there's this confluence of Opens and Closes which takes place inside a short time period. That's the reason for the reversals.

There's also a new China trade happening during this time. The PBOC is injecting liquidity into the market. Today for instance, they bought $50 Billion of equities. So as we move into the Shanghai close, there's been a sell off after the PBOC pump of traders liquidating their longs which has generated additional volatility at this time of day. It has nothing to do with an MM stop hunt.
