Again. good set of U.S. data but dollar is suppressed from strengthening against the yen.

Guess the rate rise is expected soon.....

Asia down SP500 US down rally triggered a correction on the USD JPY as the correlation with the indices and soon stop raising rates in the US so when printing by the BOJ JPY
Considering going long on the 15 minute chart, which is approaching the 12,290 area, being the 38.2% re tracement of the impulse leg that commenced on June 8. On July 10, this same area, 12,290 was resistance. Will try and post a chart up

Put up a 1-minute chart and you can see the support at 123.01 ... so guess where my stop is

Yes I too thought about the 22.90 area. We may see a bounce from there today, who noze.

There could well be a good sell opportunity, into the 32.8% (12,290) especially given todays bearish momentum.

short @12,355 some structural weakness identified today, coupled with some strength shown in other crosses, good data for GBP and the bounce in light crude, targeting the 12,320 area for apx 30 pips.

Took this trade as well but I'm out now at the 124.200 level not convinced that it has the momentum or volume to get us up to that Kuroda line this week. But ya never know.
