Thanks for the graphs. The recent Nikkei close @ 20593 is not a particularly big drop, so Toshiba have not spooked the market it would seem.

...and my shorts would still be in play if I had not set my stop too tight. Next opportunity......

im actually very satisfied about my toshiba laptop

Toshiba's chief executive and president Hisao Tanaka has resigned after the company said it had overstated its profits for the past six years.

Maybe Toshiba is only a link in the chain. Japanese companies are often closely related to each other and many have same owners.
The last one I know of (in recent years) was Minolta. They imported an English CEO who looked in the books, exclaimed 'WTF !!', and entered a series of situations which made him leave the relevant country after he blew the whistle.

Even with good US data, this UJ doesn't seem to sustain the up thrust .

Is the FED suppressing the strengthening of the Dollar against the YEN now so that it will not hit the sky when the rate rises in Sept?

2 weeks ago it was down near 120 so if they are suppressing they are doing a lousy job.

Also every other major dollar pairs has been strengthening so no I don't think the Fed is doing anything.

Guess BOJ must be behind this suppression to bring up the export number.

What suppression?
1hr support levels. Kinda wide...around 65 to 70 pips.

@big_pipin in terms of those S/R levels I'm looking at bearish divergence (Haven't seen a clear divergence on the 1H for a while) and looking for it to fall below that range support.

Usd/Jpy is in consolidation with support level can be found at 123.40.
Slight difference - my chart shows 123.30:

They're giving us new entry level... prepare for 125 and above. Lots of US data (and very positive), FED rate hike coming closer, - this week should be insane. It's not the question of "IF" it's the question of "HOW FAR UP" - how many hundreds of pips...

If you are on long TFs then maybe, but if you are intraday like most then wait before you leap on that wagon.
