Question: If the US Fed would do a rate Hike in September, what Impact would that have on EUR/USD? Up or Down?

Part II

Fundamental:
Situation in Greece becoming very interesting atm with some of the Ministers resigning over a deal that is clearly very political, Tsipras asks Syriza party members to forget Ideology as for now and focus on getting the bailout money, this could lead to anticipated elections although many specialists say that Tsipras popularity is increasing for his ability to make consensus (pleasing Greeks and Trojans) and keeping things going, as for now Grexit not so likely but impact of tough austerity measures not looking so good at least in the short term.
On the other hand U.S Dollar seems to gain momentum after Federal Reserve Chair Yellen said that interest rate hike bets still on for this year and could happen as early as September.

Technical:
Market is approaching critical support 1.0815 and if broken then surely will make sense to talk about harmonic completion of AB=CD D1 at 1.0705
Recall that 1.0815 invalidation point for move to 1.18 in the current swing, like I said before, it doesn't mean that we won't see that level but for that price will have to create new swing, the way this could happen is for eg. market washes this lows out, completes harmonic extensions AB=CD and then moves up fast. This is still too early and I think there will be time to spot candlestick pattern or harmonic pattern H1 confluence + MACD divergence, pivots H4 and H1 with whichever mentioned levels market chooses.
What we can see atm is that the speed of CD leg is rather fast and usually we get a bounce at .618 minor extension which didn't happen, also price managed to close week below MS1.
I will be looking for resistance at 1.0976 to add short position.

Monthly. Bullish engulfing pattern still valid
Weekly: Close below Yearly S2 at 1.0832
Daily: AB=CD 1.618 Ext at 1.0705 + WS1 and 1.27 Ext Bfly Buy below.

nice analysis, nice timeframes charts missing a few candles, B engulfing is april candle right? also like gartley targets or D incidentally you have D level @ 0731 do you have projections if achieved?

Hi guys. Are you selling that UJ? Imo perfect RR now with stops above 124,5. Japanese pension funds aint limitless and Nikkei kinda deserves to drop. Yes, it should have dropped long time ago and Abe san is doing all he can to prevent it. Also PBOC ban of short selling is possibly holding Asian markets up and should they intervene more, trade can get screwed. On the other hand: RR .

0820 should stop the fall for the time being today. 0870 or 0900 should see sellers.
