two small longs looking for a pullback to 1.1 by end of US session. Not sure if 1.096 is going to hold. Very tight SL if this thing breaks down

the point is things taken a lot of energy to build is cheaper to build in n america. more labor intensive things like basket weaving is/will still go to cheaper labor markets. but building high energy intensive things in n. american is cheaper. its even cheaper than doing it in china, because labor is just a small part of cost comparable to energy cost. when compared to the different energy locations..

if you were able to find a u.s. oil production chart compare it to eu move since production bottomed.
energy has has made china with both u.s. and china/asia/ europe car makers importing it... and energy will hurt china and other when u.s. has need to import less. in turn the suppliers to china like australia will be in that downturn. because n america has these. australia will still ship, but just less. less demand weakens aud because of shipping cost. its cheaper for a u.s. producer to buy/sell with less shipper cost...

loss 320 on the long at 1.1061.

took a short at 1.0965, move sl to 1.0936 lock in the 100 gain. TP 1.0854. not gonna happen i think. SL will be hit first. Will move SL lower if it cross 1.0900.

miss out the big move, but nvm, there will be a next time.

1.0850 DNT barrier , 1.078x valid target if breached ... then summer break and hikes pricing in play ... FOMC is important ..Sept hints maybe !

Not to forget all the losses you could have added by trying to figure out why the market moved up while everything was against the euro. Or why your technicals said buy while the market moved down.
The large up move towards 1.12 - 1.14that started at 1.0900 came as a surprise and it was at the limit of what was manageable but if you didn't open the trade with to much of a leverage or a too large lot size that could kill you, you never were in danger and could thus take it.

The R:R was skewed I don't think anyone is going to deny that but you also can't deny the fact that he hasn't made a loss (yet).
