the banks are closed but the forex market is still open unless it is an official holiday (Christmas, new years etc) there are other countries in this hemisphere that do not celebrate independence day.

Monday will be a very different story, with a greek YES vote I would expecting a slightly optimistic tone while a NO might become a bit shaky. Good weekend all.

EURUSD 4H Outlook

Hi Folks, this week's signature was "Gap Close" and "Revisit of Gap" nothing more.

In front of us we have a thick bearish cloud price might want to delve through. The split at the bottom edge of the cloud will pull price towards itself (I marked that split in red inside the circle). That would mean we can expect a retest to 1.1155 coming week. This cloud has 2 flat beds at his top and that can prevent a climb up but once price passes those at 7th July around noon time we can expect a higher push IF PRICE CAN STAY ABOVE 1.1155.

On the south side all that holds price for now is the red channel. A break through the midline and close below it will be an early signal for a bearish continuation.

For now: Just watch closely 1.1155 and stay more bullish than bearish (don't marry your shorts just because of Greece)

except for major holidays

but on these times (US banks closed but not a holiday) watch out for major swings, volatility, and spreads. price could go in one direction and immediately in the other for no reason

Tell me about the spreads! I opened a tiny NZD trade about half an hour ago, intending to be a scalp. At the time the spread was like 2.... now it's up to 20 and I'm stuck in this stupid thing.
