Ehhhhh. Tomorrow is a FU day with important NFP, Draghi, and holiday Friday.

I'm looking to short a spike above 1134...that's really the only play I have before a LL, I'll most likely short heavy (heavy for me is about a 1% risk) and hold until a LL and beyond...till the end of the year. May already be too late.

If a LL first, I'll be looking to short a trip back to 1115....but it may never make it

Holding anything over the weekend with less than 50 pips of wiggle room could be suicide.

I still have 1/5 of my previous short in my other account, for a LL....from 123x...want to add to that

hmm.. let us watch. I am not convinced of that level, unless Draghi thinks otherwise.

Easily reachable by NFP, especially if we are 30 pips higher than we are now going into it. It doesnt have to go there, but the cross wasn't valid....there's still missed ones gator mentioned....but they may never be reached. After Q2 last year, the pair missed more norms than it has in the previous years..an unprecedented 9 monthly bear candles.

its happend to me dozens of times (sometimes positive, sometimes negative, i have been on both sides). its not theory to me.. unless your dealing with a bucket shop dealing desk. ask a integrated broker how it works..i dont deal with a broker trading against me. we were discussing his trade, not specifically "on an exchange traded instrument with a central orderbook " he should ask for his 100 pips his broker fucked him out of.. he should list the broker if the broker does not.. i know i would..

By definition, if there's a real gap (for bucket shops, a weekend gap is real for sure), nothing transacts in the gap, no one gets prices that are inside the gap. Some bucket shops may offer guaranteed stop loss pricing, if they do that to all their clients, then it makes sense for them to also have other types of trades priced in the gap prices, such as take profit limit. They would essentially be reserving those profits from the trader to pay for those guaranteed stops at some later date.

So normally in gap situation, limit take profit or entry gets the best possible price if there is a spike or gap that reverses quick.

Now if you have a bucket shop/broker that gives prices inside the weekend gap and then does not guarantee stops then your bucket shop is being greedy and hope traders are dumb enough not to complain. Of course bucket shop may change their rules as they please, like Oanda which made a lot of noise about having guaranteed stops and then not so much noise about not having them not long after. (after a lot of pros explained the problems with the guaranteed stops)
