hehehehehhehehehehe, Guy you not only caught me, u finished me. Dont mind those rubbish guys, he doesnt know what he is doing, instead of being in his office, he is in his Farm, i tire for that man and his bunch of crooks called APC. How ur end?

Hello Feo,

If it is appearing at the bottom of your screen like that (the red circles that you have drawn) it is already downloaded to your computer.

You need to open your downloads folder and drag MADdash from the downloads folder into your indicator folder.

You can find you indicator folder by clicking on File > Open Data Folder

Double left-click on MQL4 folder

So you need to drag MADdash from your downloads folder to your indicators folder

In the indi, I have seen you have used 37 MA, Do you thibk 20 MA is right or what is the reason for using 37 MA? Thanks.

Hello DirkH143,

It looks like your broker doesn't offer CADCHF - please can you confirm this? Sometimes you need to manually enable it from the Symbols windows (CTRL+U).

If it is unavailable, I'm afraid you can't use MADdash with your particular broker.

Hello Jason,

It is different from the previous version - what I'm doing is refining the logic for automatic prefix/suffix detection by building up a catalogue of known prefix/suffix combinations. Only if those fail does it try to figure it out for itself (and sometimes it gets it wrong which is why I added the manual override).

What is your particular broker's prefix/suffix? So far, the catalogue includes:
EURUSDi
EURUSD-sb
EURUSD.
EURUSD+ (I thought this was yours?)

Are you hard coding all possible suffixes ?

Why don't you code a single line extracting automatically the suffix ?

By doing the above, you are isolating the caracters from the 7th position until the end of the full pair name.

Example if the pair is EURUSDpro ... the result of the above will be sub = "pro" ... Suffix found automatically ...

Hello FerruFx, not entirely. It tries a limited catalogue first. If that fails, it tries to figure it out itself.

The "figure it out itself" backup code is along those lines, but the problem is that some brokers have a prefix but no suffix, some brokers have a suffix but no prefix, and some brokers split the base and currency with an infix character
