The same politicians you talk were the ones 'preferred' and kinda put in place by EU and pampered by the other 18 democratic countries. As soon as one politician who was never in office was elected, they started attacking him. I believe Tsipras who said that the other 18 did not really wanted a solution. As for cleaning the house, not everyone is dirty here and there are many of us who would like to see corrupted officials & public servants in jail but that's not gonna happen - they had and still have the backing and are in the payroll of forces (be it companies or states) which lie outside Greece. Corruption in Greece is rampant, puppet states can only be controlled through corruption, and EU always knew about it, always using it to their advantage. Unless you believe that EU officials never knew about Samaras putting 4-5k people into Ministry of Culture with high salaries before backing him prior to 2012 & 2015 elections and even interfering into internal matters and asking Greek people to vote for him.
