the best now I think is to hope for a brutal decline in the euro back to 1,04 and then og for a long long position in the euro back to 1,2

It doesnt really matter where price will open. These are unussual events where brokers take appropriate safety measures against. Wouldnt be surprised of insane spread increases first minutes.. So despite being short or long your SL might very well get hit. Better to just say no to over weekend trades in this case.

Thanks for the info, sorry for the late reply , i had to step awayfor a few ,and no i closed everything out early Friday while i was ahead of the game for a small profit. being a trader for only one year i took the advice of staying on the sidelines, accepting that i don't have enough experience to trade thru a situation like this. Thanks again.

FxPro platform, Mayzus, Alpari and American FXCM, enabling individual investors to trade currencies, are among those that have implemented restrictions on Sunday, involving, among others, the higher requirements of holding on account of cash transactions to the euro leveraged or even block the possibility of opening new speculative positions.

The foreign exchange market operates around the clock, but in practice you can expect increased activity on Sunday evening European time, when it will appear on investors from Asia.

- Depending on the severity of market conditions during the night of Sunday to Monday, we reserve the right to restrict trade in the euro to close open positions already - FxPro said in a statement.

Reuters reminds that many currency brokers, among others,
FXCM, IG Index and Saxo Bank have lost millions in just 10 minutes after the Swiss central bank unexpectedly lifted on January 15 defended for a long time limit the appreciation of the franc.

hmmmm - always easier to short than long but your analysis suggests long I'm short and cacking myself because I put bloody wrong lot sizes on two trades. Already in 150 pip DD. 2 sells on EURUSD and 1 on EURGBP. My little 10k might just be gone.
