I am sorry, but you need to put in the time to read and reread the thread since you stated that you are a newbie........If you donot put in the time to read through the thread, and learn from every modification of the system, then how can you understand the sytem it self.....just my 2 cents.....goood luck
Ignored
This is true. It would be smart to read through the whole thread. There is alot of things here that a newbie would not benefit from though. Like some of the indicators and things I have posted would just confuse a person that has just found this thread.

The reason that website was made, is so any newbie that does come here, we can refer them to that place.

I would suggest going to that website and reading through all the stuff there. Once you have read through it and have read through it again, then come back and read through this whole thread. There is pbobaly 100 posts in this thread asking question from people that are looking for answers and a newbie doesn't need that distraction when they want to learn this. It took me a while to figure it out too cause of the distractions I had.

This is the website MenInBlack has volunteered to put together for all of us, if you didn't know already. You might still want to read thru the thread though.
I would suggest you to compile your own version of all the posts you think are important and save it for review later. I have done that already and it has grown to 100 pages of Word document combined with posts from other threads. This is a lot but better than searching thru more than 800 posts and it is a lot easier to FIND particular posts as well.

Ok. But I think a little too many indicators are posted in this thread already to do that.

Hey everyone,

I finally finished going over the whole thread from the start.
Quick question. What are the best times to trade this system? Do most signals happen during the London & US sessions?

For someone who lives in the US EST time zone, and works from about 9-5 and sleeps during the London session, is it even possible to trade this system or would 99% of the signals be missed?

Thanks.
Great job by the way to everyone contributing.

Yes, the London and US session is the best to trade this. For a person that works 9-5, they could get up nice and early in the morning and do trading before going to work. Also, this is workable on daily charts and 4 hr charts as well. It is possible for a person to do this that works hours that you suggest. It just depends on how badly and to what extent a person wants to go.

Hello guyz, here is a lilttle modification i made to the RSI indicator. It plots RSI as colored Histogram. And below are the conditions:

Long:
If RSI > 50 AND 5ema > 12ema ==== Bright Green colored bars
if RSI > 50 AND 5ema < 12ema ==== Light Green colored bars

Short:
if RSI < 50 AND 5ema < 12ema ==== Bright Red colored bars
if RSI < 50 AND 5ema > 12ema ==== Light Red colored bars

This is not signals for entry, but it will give you visual indications of rules being met for different condications.

If you feel its usefull then use it, if you feel like its confusing, then ignore it

Pete, do the bars change color after the current bar is closed? Or will it change colors as the bar is forming?

Only when emas has crossed you will see bright colors, need to check it in the live market, i just worked on it few minutes back. Indicator uses values of 5ema, 12ema and RSI , so depending on these values it will check the various conditions. EMA cross is only confirmed after the bar close.

Here are a couple trades that could have been taken on eurusd this past week. The second green arrow from the left would have resulted in a loss probably. I guess it depends on how you trade though. The other three would have been positive pippage.

Another chart with many trades. Notice, there is one arrow that is red. That would have resulted in a loss. Notice when that trade was signaled, where was RSI most of the time? It was above 50. Either take those trades with a little less risk or dont take them at all. The next arrow to the right pointing down would have been a good trade going against the RSI being above 50 most of the time but it would have been a good trade. Notice also, there is a signal about ready to be made when things start to move again.

JBB, which multi-timeframe indicator are you talking about ? its only 5ema & 12ema with RSI 21 on 30min . The 18ema and 28ema is sidus tunnel on 1hour chart.
Ignored
I was talking about this indicator. I know that it's not a part of Sidus System, but it helps for any system. Sorry if it looks like offtop.
So, if you don't mind I repeat my questions:
When adding multiframe indicator to the chart
1. Do I have to change inputs other than timeframe (60 for 1H; 240 for 4 H)?
2. Do I need to observe 1H tunnel on 4H chart? Does it make sense?
3. Do we really need to observe 1D tunnel or it's too far?

Thank you.

There are no links to the EAs on that Freewebs site. I think they are buried deep into the thread.

Post # 582.

That one will give you the good posts in this thread up to that point. Another thing you can do is go to freewebs.com/sidusmethod.

I suggest reading the posts after post 582 though.
