depends, I put fib candles on everything....see what fits. Often I put them on a single candle high to low. There's no set amount honestly, some work some dont, if one works it usually keeps working until we pass the range

thank you again. i tried to find out, because when i respect 150 candles / 200 candles or 240 candles back the result is always good ( the discussed S/R levels from this thread ) because the HH and the LL is within the smallest range ( 150 ). but which number is the right one ? i use 200 now.

Thank you very much for taking the time in sharing the link. The build I am using is 840, but the issue the link describes isn't exactly what I am encountering. What I am encountering, and only during high impact news, or unexpected news events, is that I never lost signal with the mt4 terminal, but the market watch freezes, and I am lagged from getting real time data. It is clear to see that the broker isn't doing it to "hunt me" because the profit clearly shows I was in profit, but when one picks a broker, and runs backtest, the backtest will be no good if your broker doesn't have a realiable feed, which of course is hat icmarket claims to have.

So they are defending to get their selling opportunity. 1.15+ still possible

the spike on cci gives me hope for this long run! and indeed we could had filled the gap on that previous pattern, but we didn´t, as we did not fill the previous gap on the red pattern, so long --> TP 1.1285, gatorinla number and also B on the green pattern, 1H tf CHART

Oh lol, Dano posts 90% charts... dont matter occasional "shout in the dark". Am myself pretty skilled in posting rubbish and think we both are on very low percentage of rubbish/analysis, compared to the rest of Eur/Usd crew. Not like I was trying to produce debate @ this. Either way, think is worth testing if LO at start of day retests some spots in previous NY range. Imo is a nice idea.

Hello. I use fibs, and I would like to share with you what I do. I simply calculate the last high and low, and recalulate once the 1.764 or -.764 fib level is touched.
Once the aforementioned fib levels are touched simply calculate the next high and low once engulfs of the low, and high have occurred.

Am looking forward to test it. JR just helped me with VBA code so I can sort out dates and times more faster (so far have been using mostly Daily closes for wave structure analysis) soo, as I finally am gonna have time included, adapting macro to search tests in certain time periods should be easy. Maybe.

Brave long there longing without retrace, however m1 is pushing bears out in possible breakout, so it could just as well work out. I am defenetly not shorting, but for longs would want some better low established here. 230ish would be short interest area for a bit.

Still holding my E/U long from 1.1150's since yesterday. I knew it would be bumpy due to Greece, but the MM's really need to see at least 1.1286 first if they're going to take price down much further. Got stopped out of GBP long at breakeven yesterday and re-entered again at 1.5680's. USDX still needs to drop at least 80 cents or so to the $95.00 area. I will exit all dollar shorts once that area is reached. Happy trading!!!!!!!!!!
