the new gold is technology. a cellwatch or cellphone (the next new thing) is the new status symbol, placing pressure on the old one (gold). the world has never known anything like this new technology/communication revolution.

technology can never be compared to gold, as it has no resell value as it grows older. my cellphone does carry only utility for myself, it does not increase my possession.

Red box was bulls area. Expecting another push from sellers to try and take it, if they fail at 1.1030 max, then it could go as high as 1.1280 before next fight. Someone should just shoot UJ from up there too to 120...

Well said and its a excellent eye opening thought too |
Being in India, this is the first time, I calculated the economy based on Smart Phones and figures mention are approx ok.

By this calculations, the smartphones are taking over gold and I am also keep on a figure on Soft Drinks and Bottled Water too.
These also take out funds from the individual pockets in long run.
