Hi shay14,
I was one of the takers . I actually entered just as price had broken above the DOL. The first blue (white in your case) price bar, not the APB itself, closed right on the DOL so I waited about 30 seconds to see price moving north before pulling the trigger. Not as aggressive an entry as Adi but the same result.
I also took EJ and EC at the same time on the same principal of waiting for price to break DOL.

Since I was in EA long, so I was following it more than other pairs, after I closed manually my trade with fisr post at 50 and next one at 18 pips, I was watching as TDI hooked below mbl on H1 and could not pass it, PA printed a pullback candle on H1, so took the new H1 candle sharp at the opens, for 50 - 50 and it worked knowing that LO might have set the high of the day

I tried to do a top down analysis of two pairs EU and EJ. I'm not sure if this is any good but feel free to comment

Hi ad! I reckon that you've mentioned a very pertinent point. What i'm getting the point from your above-mentioned proposition is that:
1. When we're in a downtrend Sell at the Top
2. When we're in an uptrend Buy at the Bottom.
Am i right, plx correct me if I'm not?

You are Right to the T about Selling tops in down trends and Buying bottoms in an up trend.
What I'm trying to emphasize in this particular example ... that .. Once I have a PLAN ... Once I have decided to be a SELLER ONLY ... I'm removing confusions, ambiguity, fear and suspense from my trading plan ... All Long Signals are ignored ...
Understand The Spirit behind the PLAN ....

Thanks for the chart tibovwh I am also on the bear side for the next week till 138.00 137.50. But i will look for opportunity to go long if any day candle close above 140.00 area.

Sharing EJ chart on the Daily time frame for next week

1- EJ hits major resistance at 140 big round number and 61.8 Fibonacci retracement back from last year bearish trend , RESISTANCE

2- Also there is a completed ABCD going into the 61.8 and 140 round number which forms nice convergence , RESISTANCE

3- TDI Red Green , hooks back down on the daily time frame, from over bought zone, trend reversal might be forming

Conclusion is , if this resistance on daily holds followed by a TDI red green crosses over, then we might be seeing a bearish week a head

Thanks for the clearing it up adikash! In essence, you are setting 'yourself' up for what you expect is the higher probability direction of price. Albeit its very difficult for me to stick to what i believe when price goes up and down Need more mental preparation *sigh*

Has TMS always being a pure technical driven approach towards trading or has there been the need to understand the fundamentals prior? Big E always spoke in terms of technical trading and I am just wondering whether any one of you give the fundamentals any weightage when trading.

Go back to your previous question (where you asked why few of us took EA long) .....Same question ... same market scenario .... BUT DIFFERENT ANSWERS & EXPLANATIONS .... Reason is we (different individual traders) looked at the same market from different perspective ... that elicited different answers ...Trading is more about the Psyche of the Individual trader ... Market ... Price will remain same ... ONLY Reactions will be different ...If you understand Price and its actions ... any form of TDI is same ...If you do not understand Price and its actions ... AGAIN ... any form of TDI is same ....Underlying TRUTH is Indi follows Price ... not the other way round ...

I have some additional questions regarding the settings of the TDI and its implications.

I know that I probably shouldn't worry about this stuff yet and I should just stick to something of my choice but I wanted to ask anyway because it can never hurt knowing these things.

TDI indicators seem to be the same in general but differ slightly in their settings.

The RSI is the basis of the TDI. I see settings range between something like 10 - 14 and I guess that this doesn't make too much of a difference as this is still smoothed afterwards. Is there anyone that specifically uses a certain number then i would love to know your reasoning behind this.

Is the MPL always an EMA of the RSI or do some ppl use a SMA? It seems to be that an EMA is going to be a lot more reactionary. The settings on it seem to range between 2 and 5. The difference between these values does produce a major difference on my TDI and obviously the EMA5 is smoothed much more...

Is the MSL always a SMA? Does it make a big difference if you take the SMA of the RSI or of the MPL?

Same for MBL... Does it make any difference between SMA34 of RSI or MPL?

Lastly, I wonder if there is some difference between TF's. Does anyone use different settings on higher TF's than on lower TF's? If so, why exactly do you think this is better?

Right now I'm using RSI 10 of Typical Price. MPL is EMA 2 of RSI. MSL is SMA 7 of RSI and MBL is SMA34 of RSI. I've removed the PAC from my chart because I think this distracts me a bit and I really want to try and focus on price action itself.


I also did two more pairs for next week: GBPUSD GBPJPY. Any advice is welcome

This weekend I also compiled a reading list. It's basically a collection of pdf's that have been referred / advised / posted / made by various people in this thread. I don't claim that it contains everything but it's certainly a good start. I think this could be of great help too many of the people out there who are looking to learn this system (like me). Please note I don't want this to replace reading the entire thread but if you read everything in here you can probably focus more on the charts while going through the many pages in here. I included the reference list in attachment. If you would like this collection you can just send me a PM with your email and I will send you the file (it's 130MB)

hello everyone I'm having an issue with my trade lines, they have disappeared
and I have gone to Tools>Options>Charts and selected show trade levels.
Any Ideas as to how I can get them back?
