Potential wave 4 reversal zones although I think it won't happen till Sun pm or Mon am.

It happened, wow that was some blowout data there. Lost 80 pips and then went short EUR/USD and got most of it back. Now sticking to it to see 1.0850. It may do all kinds of acrobatics in the mean time but the fundamentals are pretty bearish.

Very useful tool for determining the underlying sentiment of a particular currency. Good for spotting long-term "hidden" trends and points of compression without having to decipher the fundamentals (which can sometimes be cryptic indeed).

/edit according to this, good bets would be buy or at least refrain from selling eurjpy and usdcad for the next week since these are divergences from overarching trends. The sentiment will favor upward moves. JPY may be oversold overall though since it's gone deep red across all pairs.

Interesting. Looking at the DXY chart perhaps we see 97.50 again before lower? That may put USD/JPY at 128 and the euro at 1.09. Of course the hedge funds and banks will make the euro appear to be a buy at 1.11. Just like USD/JPY will be presented as a sell at 126. I expect more extremes as banks and hedge funds keep scheming.

this is my usd/jpy view. I believe 125.60 is a strong resistance for this pair held for quite some time,,, please see the longer view of this resistance...

Well I'm no hedgie or bank but believe 126.00 is a sell at least on a short term basis.

But BTW why do you care what "they" do?

Could do, don't have a $ index chart.
It's a longer term monthly projection based on next major fib/PA resistance after breaking the 2007 high on an accelerated breakout.
Lots of ups and down in between I'm sure, but my extended pitchfork analysis and bullish divergence on weekly and monthly sees a revisit of 1.47xx

Well longer term traders are in control of the market. I'm just a retail guy and usually the last to know so it's good to attempt to anticipate and think in terms of whole 100 pip increments.

Banks and hedge funds trade BOTH long and short. There is no "one size fits all" in trading.
