Disliked{quote} Hi Cat, thanks for the very detail explanation. I appreciate that. By taking the trade manually would definitely catch the better entry. you have clearly show how. I guess Islander's trades were executed by the Universal MA Cross EA. I would like to learn how to make the EA to avoid taking many trades in whipsaw area, and only take one effective trade instead, as it shows on the chart.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi Islander, very impressive result of simple system, with sophisticated operation, of course . I am just wondering, how does the EA filter the market noise in the area marked in blue? If just run by EA itself, there would be many entries with whipsaw like that. I assume all trades were executed by EA. The EA entry trigger is the close price cross 12 LWMA of close price; trade short only; the EA activated after the gap filled. Thanks {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Actually pipphunter, trading out of a whipsaw area are definitely the riskiest trades to take, which is why I don't think they are worth risking too many pips on them, however, as you can see, the 200ema does form a pretty solid ceiling on a trade like this, especially when you can see that the price doesn't want to go above it. However, if you miss these, there are always other opportunities, far safe ones in fact, to jump aboard. These trades from my own experience offer the greatest chance of success, with the smallest amount of risk....Ignored
