Happens all the time I'm sure. At dinner one time with the mutual friends I've mentioned before, we heard about a GS guy that fat fingered a clients' trade they didn't find until checking the tickets at the end of the day....made the guy millions accidentally.....of course he still got reprimanded but not fired. Had it gone the other way, GS would have been on the hook....from what I understand it's expected to happen once or twice a career, but almost always found immediately......6 hours later is a bit of a fuck up for sure. One 0 makes the difference between 100,000 dollars and 1,000,000.

of course I doubt the client complained.

as for me- ima let my little .25 cent trade run till parity or 1.5 whichever comes first.......just because it'll always be there to remind me.

i saw the omission of the 12 bad trades. and the negative for the 40% before that.. i just assumed when seeing the date and not seeing the 12 bad ones this month. point made, he manipulated the results on purpose omitting older red trades..

Although this is my first post within this thread, i have been trading the EUR quite successfully over the last few weeks with a 70% success rate, trading off mainly a technical standpoint and checking fundamental factors daily although not putting too much weight on them.

My question to everybody is I have noticed quite a lot of posters saying they are taking or gearing up for long trades,

Why is this the case? in the chart below we have seen a break of the rising up-leg on the 1 hour and 4 hour chart, price is currently retracing to what look likes either a re-test of the broken line or a re-trace to the monthly historical level, with the daily chart being overbought as-well as the weekly candle retracing and stochastic heading towards the 20 level everything would indicate a short bias on this pair.

At least this is my opinion, which is open to critique and discussion.

some food for thought, considering nfp etc this is UJ monthly actually an interesting chart, is she looking toppish or aka near levels that have proven vgood resistance before, Im thinking so, chart is back to early 1990,s but shes only been above here twice before and the eventual reaction was mind numbing bearish

Will she keep climbing, possibly, but history shows bears lurking, have been for like "ever" so what are the better probabilities of course its a monthly chart so don't expect to see anything relative albeit exciting on piss ant time frames

there is opportunity for medium to long term trade, opinions appreciated

Hi mate. I have dropped this scenario since I have thought it will come earlier (before Oil started to bounce, @ end of quarter) and after fitch downgrade was short, so lost some on this pair. But currently also short . Just a little for diversify, but plan to stack up. Here are my original targets. These were TPs, so R always a bit more up, cant find the analysis right now. Point is, is a cycle finish top.

I agree, some scalp here, in fact many, but yes agree- short biased. Daily is bearish. might retest the 1400- 1450 levels..
