Yeah I know about the indication but lets say you double your account to 200K, will you then be increasing the lots to 8 lots?
It's up to you but I think that's just risky & not necessary because if one is to get to that figure, one can make enough money & does not need to increase the lots/increasing risk.

normally yes. but as account increase lot size increase accordingly without actually increasing the amount of risk...
lot size follow the account size in relative terms so 100k with 4 lots 100 pips DD is the same %DD as an account with 200k with 8 lots 100pips DD

100k USD account:

4 lot = 40usd per pip
100 pip Drawdown = 4000 USD Drawdown
4000/100,000 = 4% Drawdown.

200K USD Account:

8 lot = 80 USD per pip
100 pip drawdown = 8000 USD Drawdown
8000/200,000 = 4% Drawdown.


so you see if account size increases, lot size increases too without having to suffer more risk.... risk in % amount is the same.
above is a very crude calculation but no, despite me increasing lot size, im not increasing risk taken.

because of the breakout bro, never doubted my USDJPY forcast of 124 to be reached. 140 my longer term target for USDJPY. its the 61.8% retracement since the 1980 high of around 200 to the low of around 78 in 2014

turn the USDJPY chart to monthly and plot a line at 118.8
and you will see that this breakout from 122 is just the beginning of something seriously bullish on USDJPY.

I see.....So you would increase the lots that's assuming if one does not withdraw the funds and leaves them in the account, I think most people would withdraw the winnings & always have the same amount in the account to trade with.

It's your style, good luck with that, what about leverage, would you increase it if you get to 150K to 200k? I think you said you have a leverage of 50-1

I wont change leverage.
but I want capital appreciation more than immediate profit,
if you want best of both world.
the best way is this.

say for an example with a 100k USD account
I average a 10% growth per month sooo

Month 0 = 100,000 = 4 lots
Month 1 = 110,000 = 4.4 lots
but at Month 1 I decided to take half of the profits made from month 0
sooo

here it goes.

Month 0
Capital: 100,000
Gain : 10%
Profit: 10,000
Withdraw half of profit : 5,000

Month 1
If withdraw half profit, Capital: 105,000 = 4.2 Lot
If NOT withdraw half profit, Capital : 110,000 = 4.4 Lot

Just like that I get to be safe in withdrawing half the profit and reinvesting the other half back to next months' capital
so capital appreciation and also security of profits can be done this way.

if people pull out all the profits each month and not allow capital appreciation, the future value generated will always be the same, no growth in future value, then you will lose out to the rate of inflation.
