Morning,

GJ M15

Price reached R2 level and then Hanging man\Harami candle appeared. Entry and exit marked with arrows.

Looks like it was not a very good CT setup. EV, if possible please let me know what you think.

Price retraced to MR1 and bullish engulfing candle appeared. Entry after priced started to move north above R2.

Morning, Cold. In actual fact, you've traded a retrace, mate, and it actually forms a bullish flag pattern. If you go back to your chart and draw the lines, you'll see a nice bullish breakout. I see you have MA's on there and price is above both of them. In a situation like that, you should be concentrating on potential bulllish trades and NOT bearish. OK?

All pivots are potential obstacles. In this case, you had a bullish piercing pattern followed by a small bearish harami. However, the following candle engulfed it, giving a nice signal for a following good bullish move, which is what we might expect with price above the MA's. Let the candles guide you, mate.

I took this trade earlier on the EUR/JPY 15 min chart, when price bounced off pivot.
entry and tp shown a quick 24 pips.
