Pairs in the "Chop Mode" Likened to dancing on a razor's edge. This is where Guru's start pushing there internal analysis. At this point its simply better to watching it swing. It's obvious the unit is itching for a run above 112.XX. Think about it. The pair lost several hundred pips since this weeks open on not much more than a mythological euro nerd running his mouth. It continues to when bored remind the world of the made for T.V. series Grease... Or Greece reality show. Sometimes in horror and others in candy land good grace. This movement is very tradable just have to watch it as you would ping pong match. Fatigue and restless tantrum will occur so be careful At this time I would not be too content with selling or buying beyond a meager range of "Visual" expectation.

Hello Pharmor and Ken, newbie here, I saw that you guys were looking at the GBPJPY. I hope you guys don't mind if I ask a question. Is it possible to this pair has a big upside, on the higher timerframes I saw a big gap up?

I see, 190.6 , 192.6 and 196.8. You guys think it will get there? How far a retrace is expected after the big move up in normal circumstances?

Unitl this afternoon i totally agreed with you. The Tuesday statement the gave rise to the move wasn't a big deal: he just said the qe is still there. As a matter of fact this morning i went long and catched 70 pips. But then it got bearish, and despite bad US data (in these weeks the pair proved to be really sensible to US bad news) it s standing still below 1.113.
Someone has a plan.
I think that it might retest 1.105, and maybe even break it

Sorry ceetee Ken will have to answer that. I took the trade off his alert, and because I was able to find a reason off the 15 min resistance. Those two were enough. As I said- normally I wouldnt have taken the trade, but Ken is absolutely trust worthy- I'd risk a 1/4 % off his suggestion....provided I can find at least the smallest of my own reasons

I'll share my views when I get home and am at my charts

The selling this week has appeared to create a strong sense of security to those that love selling this round. The shelfing of price happening right now is A typical of option barrier stair casing patterns. I would say that tomorrows AM cut has some obvious money on barriers against 11.30, 11.50, 11.75 and top tier 12.XX. This ultra close range Hot Money could create a vacuum in price that would cause more of this "What The!" quick movements both directions. However the trouble making is to clear the barriers at prior to expiration. The Bots remember the path of least resistance more than the humans ever do. (Simply because they created it) The spike downward is cautioning me to hold any long more than a quick grab and go. So in recap: Up is the pretty lady that everybody wants to date while the fat chick is moody to pounce on a suiters shoulders.
