Some asian ppl are asking me on pm if FSCS/KPMG make any difference for euro ppl or abroad ppl in the queue. I would like to post in here some answer who may explain why your process is postponed or in a later stage. JUST IN MY OPINION DON'T TAKE THIS INFO AS OFFICIALS. thx. Your claim amout is under a threshold limit? Cause KPMG specifically said amount under 200-300$ will be processed as last compensation in the final stage due to the high fee for process little wire. If your amount is more up and you have chosen FSCS there are some possibilities...

IF an email not arrive within today. Yeah you are in the second. Probably that fix is the reason for the delay.

I don't think that will affect timing much... at least it doesn't seem to have in my case:
I corrected a detail in my name (first name in double), and because of that, later they asked me to input my bank details all over again (from scratch), and send paper prove (a bank receipt where both my name and account number were visible).

Despite of that, I'm in this first group, I have received the mail confirming the transfer, last Friday.
I'm just waiting for it to appear in my account (hasn't yet... but "I'm loving" the delay, since EURUSD is plunging, lol)

Anyway, you might be (or not) in second group for any other reason (simple logistics, part of the world, bank system, amount to receive, etc...)

Spoken to FSCS a minute ago . tel: 0044 (0) 20 7741 4100

They are done with the first payments and will start with the second payments soon.
The lady told me that the second payments will be finalized by next week and that all should be compensated ( Money in the bank) by next week Friday the 29th.

You will receive an email notifying you of the payment.

what do you mean by second Payment? Do you mean my remaining outstanding balance over the 50K?

No .

I was asking about those like myself who already agreed balances ( in my case on the 22nd of April) and have not received an email notifying me of their intend to pay me.

She then told me that the rest of the people ( who have a claim against FSCS and who have not been paid now) will be paid before month end.

In your case KPMG will deal further with you as FSCS already paid out the maximum to you. KPMG already indicated that they will pay 51c/$ in their first distribution and when the complete insolvent estate has been rounded up will they again make a last distribution of some sort. This is only applicable to:

1) people who are claiming directly from KPMG
2) And to those who have more than GBP50 000-00 in their total claim.

Did you receive an email from them prior to the payout? Did they inform you that payment is on the way?

Just out of curiosity, is there anyone among those, like myself, who received the e-mail last Friday saying that payment has been sent, but haven't received it in their account yet?

yes, same situation for me. In the mail they stated that it could take 7 working days so we are not entitled to complain yet

no mail, no money for two accounts assigned to FSCS

No cause ETX receive money from FSCS so only up 50k for now and the remain dividends same with FSCS than transfered to ETX.

Cause when you chose FSCS you declare to move all your claim (50k plus dividends) with them. So all claim will be processed 100% from FSCS not from KPMG.

KPMG won't deal with Mahsud because his legal rights have been transferred to FSCS. However, FSCS will pay the distribution received from KPMG to him. Yes, FSCS has paid out the maximum of GBP 50,000 but they will also pay the dividends received after that (up to the claim entitlement amount).
