remove all toolbars, status & chart bars, will help, you should see the top 5 pixels of the last row of buttons where you can click.

Hi,

my screen at workplace is 1360*768 ...I can not reach the last rows....(at home no problem but here...(( ) johnbgr I removed few toolbars, maybe I missed something more to remove to reach the last row..sorry to disturb with this dumb question.

oh i forgot to tell you to auto-hide your window taskbar, you will gain another 20 or 30 pixel, dont forget to maximize your slots window.
i have the same resolution as you 1366x768.

F11 was not enough....But I found out how to do....From NVIDIA settings I created a resolution 1920*1080 and voila...Unsupported !!! But I can switch now between resolutions...In my workplace I had to do that becasue otherwise I need a new screen. To whom who need a solution can try this...

ohh.yes auto hide that also....much neccesary this extra pixels....also with my nvidia card I can change for a 10 second to 1920*1080...but it can not last longer unfortunately...thank you

if you have another computer with big screen (1920x1080), as i connect a big flat screen to my 2nd laptop, then i connect to the 1st one (1366x768) with teamviewer, change the resolution there as a second virtual monitor and view through my teamviewer that 1st laptop with my second laptop with big screen, that way, i succeed to do whatever i want, less complicated: get just the big flat screen and connect to your laptop, you can find one for $100 i think.

johnbgr...so thanks my workplace is not on willing to buy a new screen, until I buy...) In home ok I have the big size laptop...But on my GPU Nvdida I found the solution to last a high resolution forever. Start the high resolution direct from the GPU and not from the screen and now I have it as I need it.puhh sorry for the disturb others with this trouble but it can anyway help others.

Experiment using Basket Writer_v7 and Slots_v12

In this example I used BasketWriter to pick some pairs to be traded by Slots.
The best way to pick these pairs to have Slots trade would be to look at the charts and pick them, but just for an experiment I thought I would see what happens when done this way as it is a very simple "KIS" idea you may want to try.

also the BO (breakout ) function in basket writer would be great in slots too

ok so failure after failure with my own settings, I'm now using Smoothtrader's with a slight variation in profit taking. Btw huge thanks to the Seller9, SmoothTrader and all the other contributors to this thread. Here's what I'm testing now:

DD got pretty large on the 1st account, we'll see how it fares this week

testing 2 accounts with the same settings only one has 5- $20 baskets and the other has 2- $20 baskets

Hi,

From the looks of it, it is very promising but my only concern is that what would be the effect on the basket if there is sudden surge on the market like breaking news and stuff. If the market conditions is normal then it would be profitable.

Thanks BlueJack and Jonbgr. The combination of F11 for giving more headroom at top of page and rt-clk Hide the taskbar has been the solution for providing enough vertical space to view all the Slice ea buttons. I'm running the MT4 on a VPS so don't have control over the desktop resolution but its running at 1600 x 900.

Could anyone tell me why the Equity Lock works intermittently? It will track one time with the increasing locked amount in green in the box above "Equity Lock" and the current setting $15/$5 or 25/10. etc., then nicely close the trade when balance backs off. Then on the next opening of trades it doesn't work? The basket goes in and out of profit without being closed or the current price/lock amout even showing in the window! I've turned everything on and off, re-set settings but haven't found a fix. ??

Any suggestions?

The Equity Lock will become active after your basket has a size of $ 130.10 + $ 15.00 = $ 145.10. The system first has to overcome the negative PL first.

Hi,

I currently use Slot V12. I have a question regarding the position that have been close by TP. I click on Stop after 1. But when it hit TP. It start a new trade on that pair.

It closes based on "Basket Equity" which is showing -113.41 NOT on the current profit/loss which is showing 16.69
