Dear Samgmane

May I please ask you a couple of questions:

  1. What is the main difference between the new files in the EasyOrder 2015.04.22.zip and the older versions?
  2. Can I still use my older version (downloaded in February/March 2015) to place trades on a live account (if the global variable "EO_ALLOWTRADING has already been created)?

Many thanks for reading this and I hope you have the time to respond.

As always, I am indebted to you for this exceptional software and the consistent generosity with your time and encouragement.

Kind regards
Robert

Hi Sangmane,

So I am looking around this thread for a while and it is stating to be really confused. Is there a way how to get a set Stop loss and TP to be automatic default?

What I mean is when I trade a scalping strategy which is 12 pips SL and 9 pips TP on a pending order, is there a way how to do this? So it stays 12 SL and 9 pip TP even if I move the yellow line (the future entry price)?

Thank you,
JJ

hello sangmane, first of all i would like to thank you for this very wonderful script. it makes my trading life easier. . i would like to ask if it is possible to add a box for comment for adding comments on the trade, will be useful when tracking trades specially when having 3 simultaneous trades for scaling out using the tradecount option.

Hi Sangmane,
You're the expert here. Quick question here on Easy Order EA. I have been using this for some time, but realised that occasionally, it gives the invalid lot size error msg like this http://my.jetscreenshot.com/22254/20150515-kfcu-12kb

I am not using the risk based calculation, but just fixed lot size. E.g 0.02 I have used this small lot size b4 and have no problem, not sure why it does give this error msg at times though. Appreciate your advise. Thanks!

I still get the following message in my real account: "This version is under testing.."

I have all the latest versions of page 1. Any idea what the problem could be?

You need to add Global Variable EO_ALLOWTRADING with Value 1 (just click on any chart and hit F3, click the add button)

Thanks you so much! it would be very useful to know if the 3 orders in order count is belong to only one trade, even though they have different ticket number but it can be identified using the comments.

cheers!

Sangmane, your script solution continues to improve and it is greatly appreciated!

I do have one small request for your consideration. When I am on a smaller TF chart, the lines that are drawn for TP/Entry/SL are spread out too far and do not readily appear on the sceen together. Is it possible you could reduce their initial drawings to a much smaller differential? Perhaps draw all three lines 10 pips apart rather than 50 pips?

Again, thank you thank you THANK YOU for generously sharing your obviously excellent work with this community!! May God richly bless you for your kind and giving spirit!

Hi all Easy Order users, I just modified the scripts to make it comply with current MQL4 and removing unnecessary Price/SL/TP lines after order submitted. Added a confirmation dialog before order is sent. I restrict the script to work on demo only while waiting for user's feedback (bug report). Thanks for your support S

Also, one problem with removing the lines is that if you have an order entry failure, you must go through the process of repositioning the lines. Is there any way to allow the lines to remain so an order can easily/quickly be resubmitted if there is a broker-side issue with an order?

Just my humble opinion, but it would really be more user-friendly if the line positions determined the order type on the fly rather than having to choose the order type from a drop down menu each time resulting in a new set of lines being drawn which then have to be repositioned. Ideally, if the lines just remained on the chart all the time, you could just position them where you want...the script would then calculate the order type and do MM calcs for position size....then click order submit. If there's a problem with the order, you shouldn't have to go through recreating the whole order from scratch. Hoping that my comments here are taken as helpful, I do not mean to sound critical in any way of such a graciously shared tool. Thanks again for your generosity, Sangmane!

Dear Sangmane

I am just refreshing a request I made in Post 799 and hoping that you may be able to find a little time to do this very helpful change to an already amazing script.

Is it feasible for Easy Order to show the pips distance from the price for both the SL and TP lines as they are dragged up and down and when in their final position?

What I am suggesting is that the pips from price are displayed just below the SL line and just above the TP line. So, they are not on the dashboard, just displayed visually below and above the two lines.

This would be truly helpful with SL and TP positioning.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this.

Kind regards
Robert

I'm learning how to use the Easy Order Script. Am I correct that I need to factor in the "Spread" when dragging the SL line to the point I desire?
I have been stopped out several times prior to where my SL is and it looks like it is the spread difference. It is stopping me out before it hits where
I placed the SL line.
Thanks for your kindness in providing a useful tool to the community.

Hi,

thanks for the script, I use it daily.
I was wondering if there's a variable to have NO target profit appearing, so I don't have to cancel them all the time.
Intraday trading can be frantic and those seconds are valuable.

Thanks.

Hello,
Why when I try to move the stop loss line after an order is executed and still open, the stop loss line goes into a slashed line and just bounces around for a while and than the stop loss line ends up not being moved to where I selected. The bouncing of the stop loss line stops and the stop loss line is back to its original position before I tried to move it. Thanks Much!

Hi Sangmane, incredible that you still maintain this awsome script.
Is there a way to disable "take profit"? I don't use it and I have to zoom out to set it far and not going out of a trade by mistake
