How long can it last really ? I don't think the Eu will last as long as the soviet regime. And if it does , maybe it'll be under a different form...But the Euro currency can't stay the way it is today. They have to rethink the entire thing.

One solution would be to have a common social policity. But that's not ever going to happen. Many member states are more and more seeing the Eu as the titanic and yet everyone is too scared to leave it. Imo the ideal solution for Greece would be to do what the Argentinians did back in 2002...

Hey OnOFF, there is no stupid questions , just ask

At the moment the price is VERY nervous. EURUSD has been in uptrend while we had some bank holidays. 1450 zone touched then mixed results of US economy. PPI came out bad, while jobless claims have been surprisingly good. The price is nervous as there is a fight between longs and shorts and profit taking.

Best is to leave the trading desk now and come tomorrow

On the technical chart we can spot a forming M pattern which is very hard to break now due to a cluster of technical support levels. Historical and near term wicks indicate buying off from 118.90 and 118.50 zones. H4 chart also shows a higher low on forming M and 78.6+L3+Trend line are making a confluence on the first POC, POC2 is deemed a bigger pullback...

Interesting, what is your target timeframe for 1.0950?

EURUSD seems to be in strong uptrend, your target would require a complete change of trend to downside.

Fundamentally, EUR should weaken with QE, but this may take a bit of time.

EURUSD has been contained within an equidistant channel and it is still bought on dips. However from intraday perspectice we need to pay close attention to 1.1370-60 zone. The zone shows a good confluence of Equidistant channel bottom, L4, and 78.6 and the first touch was bought into some hours ago. If the pair proceeds to test it again it may either go for a 2nd bounce or breakout lower. Don't forget that if EURUSD breaks the zone it could proceed to test 1.1285 and it still will be an uptrend but it is seen as a retracement on higher time frames.
That breakout could be used for short trades towards 1.1285 on BPC ( Breakout - Pullback - Continuation ) or long trades on Breakout-Retest -Continuation in THE ZONE. So pay attention carefully. Bounces from the zone target 1.1480 confluence ( Upper EQ/H3).

Exactly EURUSD and DAX are inveresly correlated but DAX moves are stronger.

Unexpected release of ECB last night speech hit EURUSD and USD crosses hard. We need to wait for the dust to settle.
