Disliked{quote} Correct- whether or not I think they are corrupt, I can't do anything about it. Perhaps if I run for senate or congress one day....until then...my complaining wont effect my bottom line. My views on it. Certainly wont catch me marching outside complaining about the 1%. I'd rather get as close to the 1% as possible.Ignored
DislikedFor the news and opening range. As all week long a direct impact expected that will be play in combo with the opening range. On the fundamental side an undershoot will bring shockwaves for the W close across the board, betting on FED chickening out for the June meeting and opening expectations for a hike laters this year. An overshoot will only bring profit taking across the board. Any other number inline is pretty much irrelevant. For the technical side, 1.141x is the key and only level to track for the roll. All other levels are minor for today....Ignored

Disliked{quote} Dear Sisse! May I ask what kind of trade you hold (short, long) and how you would like to manage them in a situation like this? If you are in long, than start to trail with SL closer and closer until data comes and if data support your position, than set the SL wider again? And vice versa? You just set SL under/over previous Support/Resistant? Thank you in advance!Ignored
Disliked{quote} I was intraday long 1.135x from yesterday play for the clean sweep. I cleared (got stopped) when we lost 1.137x in the morning ... You are asking if somebody is long right now ...well depends on too many factors and i cannot tell you how to manage a position. If somebody just entered a trade before a potential news play and doesn't have a clue how to manage it ...it shouldn't be trading in the first place.... sisseIgnored

QuoteDislikedFor the technical side, 1.141x [in play] is the key and only level to track for the roll
QuoteDislikedFor the actual flows..... A positive number opens a direct intraday play [check] ... and again like this morning 1.137x is the line in the sand for a test of highs [check] and fight the 1.141x [in play] for the W roll. A decent undershoot will open a potential clean sweep play like yesterday to the 1.15xx handle [in play]
Disliked{quote} {quote} {quote} ...and that was it for London session. Clearing first small target on the test of highs. ..for the rest nothing to do until the close some levels, same trades, same all.... Well done all that rode the all the way from the opening range or from yesterday ... sisseIgnored

Disliked{quote} Well you posted the question at the wrong time. Minutes before the open and a key mover for the week ...and to be completely honest with you i just glanced at your new profile picture and my brain switched off to troll mode ... {quote} In any case, to your question again. If you are holding an intraday position and news/reports are coming, I would recommend to never or almost never preemptively trail stops before the news. However, if the news come and your reading of them are very strong against your direction I would manage the position...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Sisse, but often the market moves 50 or more pips on the news in the first 1-2 minutes, often before you have the chance to read the news (not to mention to analyze it). Isn't it better to have a stop loss on a closer distance to the current price (still bigger than the expected 2 way noise), just in case of strong negative reading against your position?Ignored
