How are you guys managing the R:R of muti lot entries?
I'm trying to use R:R of 1:1 for my trades, SL behind PA or last swing, not a fixed number of pips for sl/tp
what are you toughts about this approach? how you feel about 1:1? I need to apprimorate my risk managment, any comments are much appreciatted and welcome!!

One question

If i get a good tdi signalto short for example, and the candle closed below Daily open line and yesterday's close, would it be a valid trade to take?

GA collapsed around London lunchtime. Entered on a TDI cross on the break of yesterday's low. Bailed out on previous structure (+75TP CaveManager). Price went well below that ...

Red news everywhere it seems today. EUR bad German GDP, bad news for the dollar again...etc.

Hi arize,

I think you answered you're own question. The second APBs before your entry was rejected by the RN (1.1200) and the APB you entered on was rejected by the daily open and formed a pinbar. You also had the 50 ema in close proximity. If you look back you can see how EU reacts to DO and RN, it's quite respectful of them especially 20 and 80 RNs.

News trading throws out of the window any sense of normality we get having the TDI and APB on our charts. There's money to be made around news for sure. I don't have the guts for that.

GA is unable to clear 200 ema on 4H ...
Long @ 1.9372 ...
SL 1.9300
TP 1.9672 ... where it formed today's DT ...
Certainly not my kind of trading .....
But somehow, I'm unable to digest I took that kinda loss ... wn2 recover in the same pair ...
If my basics are right ... this Long trade has to recover 70% of the loss ...

Use_Trail_By_Candle_HL
This option supersedes all other trailing stops options regardless of how you have configured them to be. It is a way of trailing price by
moving the SL just behind the last close candle stick. There are 2 parameters that you need to configure for this option. First you need to
tell the EA when to become active by setting “Activate_After_Pips”. Once it is active, it will trail the last close candle by the number of
pips configured in “Pips_Behind_Candle_HL”.

For who uses CAVEMANAGER

Decided to stay away from GBP as I couldn't work out what it was trying to do so went the AUD route for a change.
AU was a straight forward TMS entry with SL 25 and TP 43(ADR) which was hit.
Just about to enter AJ when the PC crashed so the entry was very late once I was up and running again. Price started to stall and PC was playing up so exited AJ for +30.
Came back to my PC to see they have both taken off and gone to the moon
Still I've just spent the 70 pips on a new PC

If I understand your question right, yes it is the candle (not APB) that is on the TF where CM is attached. Don't change TF once CM is running or all sorts of strange things happen. You can add CM to say the H1 chart but use a separate M15 chart to make your entry. CM will then manage the trade on the H1 chart.
