EURUSD Comments Intro The DAY chart shows a quasi double bottom with PA climbing since then. And recently in the climb there are two retraces. Late PA last Thursday was the second retrace. Friday PA was consolidation at the bottom of the retrace. So, is the retrace over with, or soon to be over with, and to be followed by a resumption of the up trend? Or is this second retrace the start of a weakening of the new up trend, to be followed by new moves lower?
EURUSD

Seems like solid support below half number, where many times the MMs dipped price to trade. Now, proper stacking early in this new day. Still, the MMs could wait until later in the LS today to execute a liquidity creation move back down, maybe to strike below the lower whole number in an effort to sucker in shorts and also to stop out many who have, are, and will be entering long up to that time; all giving the MMs liquidity for long orders of their own.

I like it! TAH have you noticed sonic waves occouring earlier in the day - its like the MMs want to make momentum moves before newyork traders are in the market

I still contend this is very bullish. Yes, the MMs sacked the price into a lower 100pips range. The spike down at the AS open today really does look like a liquidity creation move for the AS MMs, who will not be at the table when the USD releases come later today. These MMs might have decided to try and stop out longs that have been coming in, and to trigger pending short orders, all in order to create the liquidity they needed to fill their own long orders,.....just in case this is scheduled to go higher today.

In any case, after two days at lower prices things are shaping up for proper stacking - Trend, Dragon, PA - and we need only await the LS, and possibly decide if to wait into the US session to see if the MMs do another stop hunt.

There is another NZD high impact release in the AS tomorrow, so the MMs might or might not hold off on any bull swing breakout. Just keep in mind that if the AS MMs have already prepared for it now with that spike down, by the time the USD releases hit today eveyone will have had a crack at filling longs at the very lowest of prices. And so, the MMs might not hold off the breakout. Remember, breakout later today or not, with the coming NZD high impact release in the next AS, there could be yet another stop hunt.

Early Setups

Is it unfortunate that we cannot know if the MMs intend to execute a stop hunt later in the LS or US session, to stop out many who enter earlier in the day session. If we could know they won't do a stop hunt, then we could take earlier setups with more confidence. But we cannot know, so the longer we wait the better, except in those cases where the early setup was the breakout setup, and without a following stop hunt. It happens at times, and it is what creates the "itchy trigger finger" in traders. However, overall, early setups are not the way to "party" the market. Far more often than not, it benefits the MMs to sucker traders in early, not us. So, they continue to periodically execute bonanza AS setups just to encourage us to develop our "itchy trigger finger" mentality.

Early Setups 2

This is what I saw yesterday, it fitted with other USD pairs picture. If this would not be the case, I would not open new trades, since I knew, I will not be in the office.
I felt MMs were preparing for a move (PA was good), and I also wanted to warn Mauro-J to not be so sure with his opinion..

Sometimes I notice MMs starting early that traders would be "too late-too little"..

But in most cases, we should stick to all the Sonic R rules!

Good call good call - if you look at eur/usd you could have entered on a sonic setup on the pull back and got out with about 20/25pips before a vortex of selling started after london open.... the sonic setup on the gbp/usd worked well that being said...
