Trendlines:

There are no hard rules for drawing trendlines.
Below is an example using AUDJPY on H1. Yesterday's D1 was an Inside Bar. So we use this D1 IB as a potential setup to trade the IB breakout.
On H1, we have possible trendlines which we can use to pick the breakout setup.
Always have a Plan A and a Plan B because there is no guarantee that the first breakout will run.

AUDJPY H1 trade Tokyo Open

I have a doubt on MBL Emm .... MBL is supposed to show HTF trend. These are the possible 4 scenario's on my chart, as I take D and 4H TF as reference and trade on 1H TF.

Its not breaking structure L ... not making HL / LL
Fundamentally, USD ds nt have any supporting NEWS .....
AUDJPY H1 12may trade update:

Taken TP1 and TP2 +25pips and 50pips. 3rd Pips protected at BE with TP3 set at 100pips.
Now we have wait and see if today' Da candle will close above last Friday 8May High to see a confirm Day IB breakout.

Hi Eod,

The only two indicators which we use and the most recent versions are:-
the Synergy_Pro_APB which has the Price Action Channel build-in
the Synergy_Pro_TDI, an updated version which work in realtime market

these are found in the package Synergy_Pro zip : Post#50,241

Use the Synergy_Pro_TDI default settings, the same when you trade H1, H4 and D1.
There is no need to change setting for different timeframe trading.

Hi,

I usually would look at the overall TDI condition - Green PL, Red TSL and Yellow MBL, their direction and distances apart. Always bear in mind that the MBL is 34 period MA of the RSI data, so it indicates the longer term momentum. We must compare if the Green/Red is above or below the MBL.

In above scenario 4. - if the H4 MBL is sloping down but D1 MBL is sloping up, then I need to look at the Weekly PA. It is likely the D is on retracement of the Weekly. H1 is just intraday 'noise' for that day.

For study purpose, I usually use the Triple Screen to see the big picture and correlation of the 3 timeframes.

If I plant MBL on candles area and trade along with it, take it as a reference point on 1H .... Will it compliment other aspects?

I took H1 trade setup this morning during Tokyo session.
TP1 and Tp2 +25pips and +50pips.
Now Pos 3 at BE and waiting for +100pips.
Then re-evaluate if there opportunity to re-enter for a 4H swing this week.
