I see your chart setup is basic....just zoomed in HA candles with TDI. Can you share your method on how you decide on entering a trade like the ones you have placed today on H1 TF please. Thanks...Raj

Hi.
Chart is basic n simple as it gives more clarity, no noise n disturbances to make a decision. Ultimately, its the candles that convey lots of stories and I want my candles to convey every possible thing. Please bear it that I also have naked Jap candles chart next to all my pairs, which actually is my de facto factor.
As I Live in India, I do have few advantages ... I wake up with Tokyo ... D candle is about 3 hours old.
As soon as I open my terminal, I look at D n 4H candles and their relation with 200 EMA and decide if I'm gonna be a buyer or a seller for the day. I also mark previous structure H/L on D n 4H. This reduces any ambiguity or confusion, while taking a trade.
Then, while actually taking a trade, I look various factors like breaking H/L of Tokyo session, H/L of previous day H/L, if previous day closed above / below Open, nearest structure H/L. And yes I predominantly trade ONLY if a pair has enough to travel 50 pips (this reduces number of BE trades) etc.

Thanks, what is naked jap angles chart? Also do you only trade H1 TF? And what pairs do you trade? BTW I am based in UK so also ideal for LO and US trading. Thanks in advance

I was using the xadr indicator for a while now, and the color change from tradeable to untradeable is happening rarely, so i was wondering when the color change actually occurs? whats the method behind it?

Hi.
As I stated, early in the morning, I mark structure H/L on HTF's.
But all trades on 1H are based on the Price on 1H chart. I do keep looking whenever new 4H candle prints ... just to check for any chance to add positions to hava an idea of whts happening in higher TF ...

My TTF (Trading Time Frame) is 1H. I add positions on confirmation of the same trend, when the new 4H candle prints.
I have 7 charts, EU, GU, EJ, GJ, EA, GA and Gold. Each APB chart has a Naked Jap Candles chart, next to that. On a trading day, I go after those pairs which have clocked minimum 120 pips ADR on Y and 5D ...
My Naked Jap Candle chart on EA ... Have a look ...

My only trade for today, I belive that is a bearish engulfing outside bar?not sure if can it be even the 2 prior candles having a higher high?
Closing bellow pac, sounded ok on higher timeframe trend, D1/W1 red candles, bounce on 50MA, bellow 200MA
maybe no room to go botton? or lack of volatility? Entered the 2 candle because first one was not TDI cross yet

didnt take GA because of news

Hi Josh,

Those scripts will only place 3 stop or limit orders with SL and TPs. They do not move the initial SL.
What you have to do is after TP1, you have to decided if your want to move the SL for the other 2nd and 3rd Pos.
What I do is after 2nd Pos TP2(+50pips) exited, I will move my initial SL for th 3rd Pos to BE.
This is good for 'set and forget' way of trading. We focus on looking for A+++ setups and pull the trigger by using the scripts. We do not have to monitor the trades so often.
TP1 get hit very easily with price momentum (usually 2 to 3 H1 candles) and that TP1 +25pips will help reduce the overall risk of the 2nd and 3rd Pos.

Note that all 3 Pos are of equal lot size. If we increase the lot size for 1st Pos, it will help to reduce the overall risk more effectively. For example, I use 2 x Lot size for 1st Pos and 1x Lot size for 2nd and 3rd Pos.

If you need any personal customisation of these MT4 scripts, do let me know.

This is a money management strategy for TMS which is a rule based strategy. Simple and effective and we do not need any expert advisor to manage our trades. You can trade on any other broker trading platform which are non- MT4/MT5.

Hi turnip,

Those DBHLC and DBLHC are rarely seen on our charts these days. but when they show up on higher TF like H1, H4 and D1, they are great price bar patterns to trade.
They are two bars patterns and they show price momentum in the 2nd price bar which the TDI will confirm.

See chart example below.
Very important is that both the price bars must have the same High or Low.
I use the Bar Chart over the APB.
Note the APB candle body size in relation to the actual Price Bar.
