I'm no expert on CM, but the above settings seem pretty straightforward. Basically you turn all other settings to 'false' since you only need basic functions, other seniors please correct me if I'm wrong ehe

EU countertrade
Divergence was noticed, went short at trendline break and TDI green moving away from red from overbought aerea, target was 38.2 fibo retracement of last swing high.

The school of hard knocks drive the lessons deep inside you. Bought Eur/Usd only to check and find out its NON FARM PAYROLL DAY!!!

I closed out for a small loss but as it turned out it I would have won if I hadn't. But that's a chance game. The stuff I learned on learning to take a loss is important. The market will always be there. So better to steer away from Non farm until I've learned how to trade it.

Hi Zef,
Have a look at this EA, it is a lot simpler than CM and you should be able to get what you need from it. I can knock you up a set file for CM if you need but SL and BE is very dependent on the pair (took me about 6 months to stop it from biting me )

I'd wait for the candle to close, mine is in about 90 minutes. Look to see where price can go safely. Is there any S/R near by such as a RN, 200ema, ADR or Yesterdays Low. What does the H1 chart look like.

Thanks - they do seem pretty straightforward. Between bad settings, slippage during events and EA errors, I got some significant pip losses.

I have to solve this.

I also use MC setups for entries but I usually wait for the entry candle to break below and close below the MC. If you enter mid-candle, it can retrace or change color or anything can happen. Hope this helps.

I Go here every Monday before the week starts - http://www.investing.com/economic-calendar/ , and set my filters to high impact, currency filter, etc, and then print out the "3 bull" events and pin it on the wall in front of me. Then there's no more trading during news.
