re nice tiga post cci wont take trades on drop below 100 etc.....you could try reversing your cci <>0 etc ie.... -100 up top and 100 down below ....only a suggestion to be tried ....not a recommendation......

Good day, good afternoon, good evening, and good night to everyone.

Slots v10 has been up and running for me since the London Open, and it has been functioning just fine with my settings.

I have adjusted my strategy a bit. Yesterday I noticed that it made it past 1/2 way to my Equity TP before it began to go south. So today, I have adjusted my Equity TP point. Instead of 3% return at approximately 50 pips, I have set it to 1.5% return at approximately 30 pips. Instead of Stop after 2, I am now GO at Profit.

So far I have closed 4 baskets, and I am working on the 5th basket. Before I head off to bed eventually, its 3:30am local time her, I'll switch it over to Stop after 1 basket and set up and Equity Lock to let it run while I catch a couple of hours sleep.

Remember that one good day, or week does not make a system flawless, just as one bad day or week make a system flawed.

Hey Bose, is it because you don't have auto restart selected. Unsure, as you would think nothing should happen if that is not selected but I was under the assumption that it would reset the equity stops.

Still using the V7 since it is working fine for me. Maybe I'll switch during the weekend to the last version.

The basic formula that I use to determine the position sizing is based on a couple of things. The first is Pip Value (PV) which if you take all 28 pairs and average their Pip Value per pip for each micro lot (0.01) it comes out to approximately 9 cents. The next is the account Balance (B), and then the Percentage Return (PR) per basket you are targeting. Finally the number of Pips (P) you want to reach your basket goal. Then it is put all together into the following formula:

(B*PR/100)/(P * PV) = Number of lots example: ($400*1.5/100)/(30*9) = 0.02 lots


The Equity TP = (B*PR/100) example: ($400*1.5/100) = $6.00

EDIT: The examples are what I am currently using. I am in no way saying that this is the ideal or optimum set-up. Use what feels comfortable for your trading style and plug THOSE numbers into the formula.

Currently I am not using a Stop Loss

If I understand the formula. You use MM: 0.01 lot/200 $, TP=3 $, No SL....

Hi Seller,

After trying many combinations on H1 I am finally having some success using slots on the 15m using 100 period CCI 50/50 plugin for direction and MACD 12 26 9 for the trigger. The intention is to try and get in for the second wave after a change in direction. At the moment I am manually entering the trades because the MACD X indicator does not reset after the cross but stays active as Direction. Is this the correct intention for this plugin and if so is it possible to make an option in the future for X or direction so that it will only trigger once after the cross.

Your work on this dashboard an additions is outstanding and after all with the bugs with all the updates to Mt4 the new possibilities and innovations such as this is starting to make trading forex less stressful and almost enjoyable. Many thanks for your generosity and patience.

Thanks a lot! I'm going to take that into account. Today I profited already 20$ with 0.01 lots and I'm calling it a day. I don't want to get too greedy.

Use the MACD V2 plug-in, that bug was fixed in this version by SELLER9.

Done for the day. Six mini baskets today recouped most of yesterday's losses.

SLOTS v10 functioned flawlessly with my settings today (THANK YOU again Seller9).

I Have a question to you all.

What works best for you? Different baskets or the same basket with equitity TP?

Examples:

5 baskets with TP of 10$ OR 1 basket with TP of 50$ and equitity profits(10+10+10+10)?

I believe that Seller9 designed the SLOTS EA to be more of a short term trading system, and as he has mentioned in his videos, he has seen the basket move 600 pips, but it's best not to get too greedy. With that being said, I believe that multiple baskets targeting 30 to 50 pips is the way to go.

If you want to look longer term and higher pip count, I would suggest the Equity Lock system. This allows the basket to run for a larger pip count while trailing an Equity Stop level.

It all comes down to testing and how comfortable you are with the potential DD.

I'm testing the smaller pip count method and it seems to be working so far.

Just sharing ideas....... according to my strategy i realized that there was so many false breaks and fake movements, this results in a important decrease of final profits, so i decided to attach this little beauty to each chart, and now ... every -3, -8, -5, -4, -10 becomes 0, to seller, this function could give this wonderful toy even more power.....

Yes I am using the same template for my charts with SLOTS v10.

The only thing that I have changed is instead of setting my Equity TP @ 3% of my balance, at approximately 50 pips, and Stop after 2 baskets, I have set my EQUITY TP @ 1.5% of my balance, at approximately 30 pips, and Stop after 4 baskets.

These are just my personal test settings, and I don't want to imply that they are the perfect settings.

Its simple, when a trade is triggered and reaches X green pips, your stop loss goes to BE by itself,,,,,and cero risk for that position.....
