They made another 300, from the very bottom, 900 all together. Theoretically they should retrace 100-150p tomorrow. I wouldn't bet my life on it but this is how it usually works.

Made my own.

Day was looking bright, now we need to wait for the market to come back to us. This is where keeping our fingers in our pockets is hardest.

We have two options now:
1. Pump it in the morning to 1400-30, drop to 1220-70
2. Start free fall now till 1220-70.

Flat till tomorrow.

You could be right, but somehow I think it's going to retest that high today yet, before London open.

The EUR/USD gained more than 200 pip today, waiting for the closure above the resistance at 1.1260 to confirm the end of the bearish trend.

I think I disagree. The EURUSD based on price action alone seems to be a trending market. Strongly trending if anything. Yes you should be on the lookout on large moves down which you cannot predict, but that is just paranoia.

That's why I avoid longer projections than a few hours ahead... Last time I did it, a month ago, saying EU is bullish, all I heard was a bunch of morons repeating parity parity parity, no fundamentals, blablabla! I hope they keep their shorts Anyway... DXY also hit stronger support area around 94. All I'm trying to say it should drop 100—150p before another big move, we'll see how it pans out.

How would this effect the USD

The U.S. Treasury Department said Wednesday it would issue $64 billion in securities next week to fund the government's debt.
Treasury also said it would change its cash management policy beginning this month to hold a higher level of cash in its general account. The change, which was recommended by the Treasury's borrowing advisory committee last year, is designed to protect against a potential interruption in market access.
Going forward, Treasury will hold a level of cash to cover one week of outflows from its general account, with a minimum balance of roughly $150 billion. Since the financial crisis in 2008, it has maintained a balance of around $80 billion, up from $30 billion before the crisis.
The department said it would also look to increase the level of Treasury bills outstanding to meet higher market demand. The supply of bills outstanding as a share of the total Treasury portfolio has fallen to around 11%, a multi-decade low.
"It's clear that demand is large and growing," said Seth Carpenter, the acting assistant secretary for financial markets. "We wanted to be sensitive to any potential mismatch between strong demand and reduced supply of bills."
The Treasury said it would sell $24 billion in 3-year notes on May 12, $24 billion in 10-year notes on May 13, and $16 billion in 30-year bonds on May 14. The auctions will all settle on May 15.
Next week's long-term debt auctions will refund $67 billion in maturing securities, resulting in debt pay-down of around $3 billion, the Treasury said.
The Treasury sells bills, notes and bonds to finance the government's operations and to pay off debt. Every quarter, it conducts a refunding--essentially replacing government debt, often debt that is about to mature--with new debt.
Meanwhile, the Treasury has been employing so-called extraordinary measures that allow Congress more time to raise the federal borrowing limit, which had been suspended until mid-March. The Treasury hasn't said how long it expects those measures can last. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that Congress will need to raise the debt limit by October or November.
The cash-balance changes announced Wednesday don't affect the debt ceiling dynamics.
After running large deficits following the financial crisis, borrowing levels have fallen and then evened off over the last two years amid higher revenue. The budget deficit is projected to fall to $455 billion, the lowest level since 2007, in each of the next two fiscal years before beginning to rise thereafter, according to the CBO.
