Great to see the GREEN pips flowing into your trading basket. Keep up the good work.

Have you been using the same setting for some time now? They seem to be promising and it would be nice to track the results over a period of weeks or months.
When do you take profits? Is it automatic at a set time of day for example, or is it discretionary and done manually?

Thanks Smoothtrader, I did a fresh install of the EA and now strangely, it's working like it should. Here are my settings I'm testing atm:

MT4 can act very strange at times and do things for no reason at all.

Sometimes a restart or reboot will cure the hiccup.

At other times a fresh install of MT4 cleans everything up.

Sometimes it just never makes any sense and it is always a good idea to shut everything down and start fresh from a Windows reboot.

We use to call this "Window Rot".

Also some programs don't like to release memory cleanly when a program is even stopped, which a fresh restart will always help.

Brilliant work as always Seller9.
Really like the idea of using and/or pin 1 & 2.

For those of us that are longer term traders is it possible to have an option to close all open trades at a user selectable time (either local time or broker time) on every Friday? O course it should not be allowed to open any new trades if this option is used.

I currently trade 24/5 but do not wish to hold trades open over the weekend - preferring to start fresh on a Monday but this is not possible unless I happen to be awake / at the computer to manually close all trades.

I would like the ability to close out all trades 4,5,6 or however many hours prior to market close on Friday.

hi seller9 hope the smiley robot on the corrner wont disappear on slots v8... i dnt knw what makes it disappeared

So far, so (very) good ! Thank you Seller9 !
(I have to use Slot version 4 because with Slots version 7 many times it keeps open and then close the same currency pairs within a few seconds).

Hey, I had the same problem before with slots 7. The solution is to put the slots and the charts with the same time frame. e.g: slots on 1H and charts on 1H time frame. Check your settings. Regards

Thank you for your suggestion . I did try that, as you can see in my setup, but the problem still shown up .
Anyway I will try your suggested solution again together with Seller9 's Slots Version 8 to see if it fixed. Or it could be me, who don't know how to setup Seller9's EA .

Bazze,

Yes, don't worry about it. No big stress on the CPU.
Your computer must be running when CM is managing trades and you should not change timeframe when you have open trades managed by it. Also, CM can only manage 1 trade per pair.

Make sure you click "ALLOW DLL IMPORTS" when you load the robot.

Has anybody managed to get V8 to take automatic trades?
I can't seem to get mine to trade in auto mode either on the desktop or the vps.

If others are trading auto then it must be an issue at my end.

EDIT:-

I can get V8 to take trades if i select only one pin. Either pin1 or pin2 but as soon as both pins are selected it refuses to place a trade, regardless of whether I have the new 'P1 and/or P2' button selected.

I managed to load Slots on MT4, but there is no full view on the chart. I read somewhere in this forum that I should use a HD screen/monitor.
Would it be the only solution?

London is now open. SLOTS v8 showed 4 signals and opened 4 trades for me, so it appears to be working correctly.

May GREEN pips rain upon you, and your life, each and every day......

EDIT: Remember...if you have PIN1 and PIN2 selected and the "P1 AND P2" button appears at the bottom of the column, then both the PIN1 AND PIN2 arrows must be the same color for a trade to be initiated by the EA. If you click on the "P1 AND P2" button it will change to "P1 AND/OR P2" and then a new trade will be initiated by the EA if either both arrows agree OR if there is an arrow in either the Pin1 or Pin2 AND the other one is blank.
