BOE is playing chicken with the markets, England is not getting any better. Uk elections are happening soon and consensus polls are not showing any definitive sign of whos coming out of top. this uncertainty will hurt the GBP, I don't see any reason to long, and yes you may say that theres a weekly bullish engulfing, but a confirmed bullish engulfing only suggests next candle to be bullish, it doesn't say to what extent. so don't expect this thing to be flying anytime soon.

If Central banks wants to lower their currency without lowering interest rate, why don't they just talk the currency down & say it's over valued? like the RBA did when the AUD/USD was around .85 & RBA said it's over valued & we need it to be around .75 and so it gradually dropped without the need to lower interest rate which would have caused a housing bubble.

I think that just talk and no action would only result in volatility witch is very bad for any country.

so we could say this week candle has higher prob to be bull candle? gotta reload short next week then?

no, bullish engulfing only give you a high probability of a move higher. but the week could still close as a bearish candle, with a long wick above the open.

Hows UCAD? is this pair is changing direction to bear? recent BOC hawkish with couple of bull red-flagged data push it below daily support previously at 1.238 and current traded at 1.225. Obviously usd is not giving up before rate hike isnt it or 1.27 for UCAD is including the priced in rate hike?

USDCAD to visit 1.30 this year. problem is USDCAD hawkishness causing USDCAD to have an expanded range from 1.22 to 1.27, but underlying fundamentals of oil is CAD bearish at best....

We are seeing large oil reserves building up and data on oil reserve buildup is NOT a good sign for cad strength..... oil reserve build up is adding strain on oil storage, in order reduce the over supply of oil they need to lower oil price further to attract demand so the storage doesn't get filled up, despite reports that oil refineries maybe coming back online to refine the so demand for oil may pick up, theres a big problem in the fact that, Iran has shit loads of oil that hasn't hit the market yet because of the Sanctions imposed on them for the uranium talks, if uranium talks are progressing well, watch the hell out for oil.... Iranian oil will flow into the damn market pushing oil price even lower.... last few years of oil priced at 100 dollar is due to oil suppliers playing around with prices by storing the oil up creating an artificial oil glut pushing price up, but now the storage are getting filled up, they're all in trouble to dump the oil and theres not much demand for oil because of slowing global growth..... so now they are marking down oil prices hard to attract demand....
