May have found a bug - only with the MA plug in. For me when the MA plug in is loaded to all 28 charts on Pin#2 (I have the HAS on Pin#1) - If you are on one of the 28 charts and change TFs on that chart and go back to Data base V5 chart - some things stop working and eventually crash or lock up- I found ways to get back to normal. But I have stopped using the MA plug in. Other plug ins seem to work very good and no change TF issues.

Hi,

I'm using Slots_v5, the Equity Lock doesn't seem to work, it used to work fine on v4.
Anyone else has it? Something I should have done other then set it to true and set some targets?

It also doesn't work for me on V5

just watched the latest v5 video which is now updated as v6

awesome

a quick question.....
similar to the bo button .....
lots struggle with support and resistance...could it be possible to a sr button beside the bo button so when pressed it places lines on chart for support and resistance levels?
Then beside the sr button you click l or s for long or short to trade a break of support or resistance on close of the candle?? Similar button to theblong short manual trade buttons

Hi Seller,

I have some questions about the BO/PO and ADD lines in the Bandit EA.
I use the BT_14 daily, and the new way to Add into trades in this "new" EA is great.
Since I do a lot of fib retracement/extension trading I wonder if I can use the BO/PO/ADD lines for this, in the following ways:

 

  1. If I bring a BO/PO line (that was intended for a long break/touch) down to a fib retracement level below the current price, when it is touched/broken will it take a trade in the opposite way? What I mean is if I switch the the lines (from top to bottom and vice-versa) will they still take trades, but in the opposite position...
  2. If I use the ADD TO LONG lines and bring them down, under the price, will they get immediately triggered or will they trigger a trade only when touched (and in the opposite position)?
  3. Can the Bandit EA be used as a standalone EA on offline charts (like BT_14) or will it only work with Slots and live charts?

BTW: Will you consider coding in multiple HTP lines for partial take profits / scale-out of trades? (TP1, TP2, TP3)

Seller9, thank you for the update.

One thing I've noticed (has anyone else?) is that when a trade is closed manually through the dashboard, BanditEA does not reset, i.e. it still shows as "Active Trade", although the trade is already closed. Clicking on "Close" does not always fully reset the EA either; e.g. the closed trade balance and the TLX (if used) just stay on. What actually does reset it is switching to another TF and back.
Another observation is that the BanditEA does not draw entry arrows or vertical lines for the trades opened by Slots. It does do it, however, when used directly on the chart for manual trading.
Refers to both, v5 and v6 of Slots.

Hi VMC

I'm after a similar thing, a BO/PO line that you can decide weather it takes a long or short trade. If you switch the BO/PO lines (SUP and RES) around it will take a trade as soon as you start live trading. I assume it would be the exact same for the ADD TO lines.

Had a successful London and NY sessions, capped myself at 50 pips each session and worked well. Thank you very much Seller

I have a problem .
I reinstall windows and MT4 , but when i attached force load history on EUR/USD 4h some of history of pairs don't successful loaded and error appear .
Please advise to me what i have to do ?

Slots V6 Time-frame H1 One trade per-candle is true, it is taking more than trade trade per candle. It also take more trades when stop and start EA

Just delete the history in Temp and reload them. where your app installed:

C:\Users\???\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\???

I'm in and out within 1 hour. 50 pip take, the GBP MPC asset purchase votes helped out the situation. Made up for the slow asian session, I wont be trading that any more.

@Seller9, I think we should be able to set TP and SL per pair. on Slot_EA (V6). Maybe a button to turn off and on a pair if we don't want a current position to be affected while we increase or decrease TP or SL on another pair.

Why I mention this is that. I have a position that is running and added a new position on the same pair which went into profit immediate, but while adjusting the TP, I mistakenly switch off the TP button. I click to put it on and all trade close based on the default TP that come on when you select TP.

Also, I noticed, if you add a new position to a losing position and set TP for the positions (the two use same TP). The moment the new position hit TP, the first position (losing position) also closes.

Hi Traders/Seller,

Further to my previous post, started doing some tests on the new BanditEA (that's bundled with the new Slots EA) to see if works as a standalone ea, like the "old" BT_14.

What I found was:

  1. The Bandit ea works as a standalone ea on live charts (haven't tried it yet on offline charts...)
  2. For the FIB traders:

    1. The BO/PO lines cannot be switched around to take trades in the opposite direction because they are triggered as soon as you click the "Start Live Trading" button.
    2. The ADD lines cannot be used by themselves to trigger trades (I assume that they're coded to only add to trades that are already open)


But, by the "Add Lines" button that Seller has already coded in (although still "just for looking") I expect that he may come to code in some features that will let us trade Fibonacci retracements/extensions... at least that's what I'm hoping (pretty please Seller?...)

UPDATE: The Bandit EA does not work on offline charts (at least not the ones created by the Basket_Writer_V7 ea)
