Hello guys. Hope you are all well.

I have just started testing this EA and it is taking trades, though at the moment, at a loss as it has big losers, and mostly small winners.

I am using the settings provided by Dafa (thanks for posting them) with 10 pip bricks on M2 offline.

Do I need to have any kind of other indicators open for this to function better? And what is the best time to run this EA? London session? NY? or Asian market where its mostly ranging?

Hello arsudib,
The entry logic of the EA is based on Renko price action and the relative distance of the last Renko bar's close price (RBCP) and two moving averages (MA) values. If a bearish Renko bar followed by two Renko bullish bars, and RBCP is above the both MAs values, and the value of the fast MA is above the value of the slow MA, the EA opens a BUY position. For the SELL position, just does the reverse check. There is also a time filter for trading that EA respects to for opening a position.
For exit, there are three methods, fixed SL/TP, Trailing Stop, and exit when an opposite bar appears.

For the operation of the EA, there is no need to attach any indicator on your Renko chart. But if you would like to visualize (and verify) the operation of the EA, you can attach MA indicators with the same settings for the EA.

Today wasn't good day for this EA. I am not sure if it is because of new version or because market range. If you look at the standard charts for today so for example eurusd looks at the end of short term trend. This is problem for every trend robot I think. But. We have to run both of version Math EA I think. Older with renko_mod and latest with non-gap renko for comparing. After that we can say some result. This bussines isn't about one single day but about longer period of trading.:-)

Today only losses.The problem with this EA is that it opens buy/sell on very important resistance and support zones.

this may be a basic question, how are you using this indi (renko)? Meaning what are using to define a good entry point? How do you know if the Renko block is going to be up or down?

Thanks for all the work you are doing on this ea, it is most appreciated, just need to get the settings right.

In the latest two versions on a reversal box the box size is double. Is this deliberate?

A great improvement to the system would be a marker on the opening of the trade and the close when the trade is completed. That way we could see visually what transpired over the course of the trade (just a suggestion).

You allready have this. Go to your history tab. Click on any trade in the history an draw it on the chart it belongs to. Then you see open, close and a dotted line between them of that trade in the chart
