Hi,Seller!
Slots v.2 works good...as a dashboard only...
Watched all your videos and configured EA...as you said-"just set it ,forget it, and go to bed."-but I dont think that set it to "Trade 28" is good idea...
Anyway, dashboard is very helpfull if you trade baskets manually...

Hi Seller9, Sam (and all), Just want to express my gratitude and respect for all the hard work you put in providing such fantastic tools and your continuous support. Studying the thread is a fascinating journey. Sam (SMKNYC), your method in particular opened a whole new world to me. Thank you for sharing. Still a long way before I can match your results and expertise, but the seed has been planted. Wrapping my head around BT_14 will take some time, so I've started with the more straightforward Slots_v2 today. Here's the CAD basket. Looks like the...

Hello People,

Here's what I'm thinking of doing:

Because I like the Basket Writer and Basket Trader so much, I will use it with the SLOTS. The only thing I couldn't do in Basket Trader was close individual pairs if I saw they weren't congruent with the other, profiting pairs. But I CAN enter and close instantly, ..on the fly, in SLOTS.

So, first I check the news calendar in FF, then I review the thoughts of the two analyst I follow on FPA, so I have a direction and plan in mind.
Then, I have set up all 8 core pairs in their own profiles, ranging from weekly TF down to M1 time frame. In the images attached, you see these on the left side: JPY pairs (M15 TF) and EUR pairs (15 TF). I toggle back and forth between the two under "Profiles".

To the right I have Basket Trader running on a demo account, with my chosen selection from these two pairs (in this case) running in the BT.

If I see pairs moving in the same direction, up or down, I place those entries manually in SLOTS running on a live account on my VPS.

That way I get the best of both worlds. I can just set it (but I need to check periodically as SLOTS doesn't have the HASX and other MM functionality that BT has) ... and check the core pairs every so often, and close the losers and open new winners.

Why do I even use the Basket Trader on the demo account, you may wonder? Because it gives me a good idea of how that basket is performing, visually. And if it's getting close to the end of the day, and I feel there is more money to be made with these pairs, I have the option to open a basket with these pairs in BT on my VPS, and set up MM (HASX, TSL, etc.) and let it run overnight. Of course I would then close the trades in SLOTS, and turn SLOTS off.

Does this sound like a lot of work? I just consider it a procedure that is solid. And I can see what's going on.

By the way, if anybody is in the Philippines and would like to fill me in on getting set up there, I welcome your PM's. I'm thinking Cebu or ...? I've had enough of Thailand. Darran

{quote} No offense at all! Don't take it personally guys, we pinays are very emotional. Like seller9 says in his video, the ea is using pure price action. Me too! Is it really too difficult to generate that piece of code? Manual trading with dingdong99 dashboard. {image} {image} Maybe I could grab much more but in news time we never know what happens next. Therefore I better lock profit! Jibala

The EA opens and closes the sessions fine, but it doesn't put the chosen pairs from the previous session back on for the following session. Once again, thank you for your time and effort. Wishing you all the best and green pips forever!

No problem here, works fine! It finished yesterday 3h after LO and opened Tokyo this morning with same pair selection.

That's because you don't have the 'Timer close' button activated so all open trades will be monitored into the next session.
I have mine set to close all trades at the end of each session but when the new session starts none of the pairs are re-activated and so no trades are taken in the following session.

my first thoughts on "slots: is it seems to be one of the most advanced trading tools ever shared on ff....pity some ungrateful members are not able to be bothered to learn how to use it to their advantage.....my sincere thanks to seller 9 and the band of brothers sharing their knowledge in the possible advancement in trading to those who are prepared to read and take the time to learn .....I work on the theory that if you learn just one thing a day you are going forward....thanks to all who share...good luck to all.

Hi,

Looks like my Slots_v2 is picking up some slack, with !7! baskets closed
If it's possible, I would like to know how many baskets had hit the SL and how many had closed in profit.
Next week I'll test Slots_v2 with less then 28 pairs and see how it fares with my own selection of pairs.

Thanks for this awesome tool.

Guys/Seller, Have anyone had this problem below...this is really strange... I was trying to find out why the Slots TP/SL was not working. I tried force load history data for all 28 pairs many time. I even setup a new Demo account, the EA loads fine and works OK but has problem with TP/SL settings as it only works for some pairs. Not sure what I am missing out..can any suggest/ help. The EA works fine with Live account perfectly which is from the same broker.

Hi Guys,
I am still not able to solve the problem with ADR/CDR numbers and TP/SL showing 0/0. I tried everything possible even setting up a new demo account but it's not working. However, it works fine on a Live account. I am beginning to think that it has something to do this broker's demo account. Did anyone have this same problem?
