I agree with you euro may go higher but only to revisit the pressure point at 1.1 without breaking 1.1 don't start thinking anything above.
as for yen goes. yea nooo I really don't see yen appreciating. appreciation of Yen only adds pressure to Kuroda's plan to keep inflation at 2% in japan. kuroda will be smart not to let inflation fall back so he will do what it takes.
do not be surprised if japan announces further easing this year.

This I know, that is a different matter. I don't know it just seems Indicies are more predictable/ more technical these days than FX. Ironically I saw something on the net saying that FX is more technical, perhaps this was the case at a point, but certainly not right now from what I've been seeing.

Yeah, when I saw the numbers pop up all RED, I was thinking Oh Oh. But then I actually read the numbers, and saw that even though they were lower than expected, they were much better than previous month. So yeah, then I thought if wouldn't be long before that fact sunk in and the flurry of buying would slow way down.

japan expert said high chance of no more easing... 2 years of easing did nothing much for japan inflation, most likely will launch something but most likely not easing later this year.

Even if they continue to ease -- which they will, or increase easing, it's still not an automatic case to sell JPY. I will repeat once again that the market is a price discounting mechanism.

japan expert is NOT the BOJ.....
youd best start to listen to the BOJ and not the experts... experts are not the ones in control of the printer....

"I would not oppose further easing on April 30, because inflation won't be generated even if the central bank eases again," he said. "But I would not on my own oppose the BOJ adopting monetary easing for now."

here is the problem, inflation is there when you print.... but there are other things in the inflation measurement that's keeping inflation down, need I remind you japan imports most of its oil from abroad. all japan needs for inflation to start ticking up is a rising oil price, otherwise the printed money inflation effect is there already, but subdued by oil price.

BTW I still would trust Hamada, even if hes an adviser to PM Abe, hes still not BOJ.

so watch out. if oil price further falls and inflation doesn't tick up BOJ will ease even further....
not hard to picture. if OIL price drops, BOJ eases. simples....

and yes I think oil price will fall hard.... Iran's oil supply has yet to hit the market once the sanctions gets lifted.

Aussie export to china is huge, is reverse for kiwi, so bad yuan data is bad for aussie good for kiwi this could actually have a go at parity, sometimes parity works like magnet close it gets the wilder pa gets, last try was pretty close attempt
