I thought the Swiss guys were crazy back when they did their thing in January, but sounds like Abe's little spokesperson has some issues too, huh? I can see him sitting there watching charts as he made his 105 comment, just grinning... then the next day coming back with "never mind" and ROFL as everyone sits there with their mouths hanging open.

Try having 3 or 4 pairs at the same time so won't be fixated on one

im pretty sure Hamada has some connections who are short the USDJPY needed Hamada to talk the USDJPY down just to hit a certain level then revert his comment....
I mean who the hell is Hamada? even Abe himself doesnt have that much power to move the USDJPY....

As for the EURUSD... im actually not surprised its coming back down now but it does hint that the bulls are under heavy pressure from sellers above.
yesterday's flurry of data from US was not bad at all. okay expectations we missed but hell whoever was the one setting the expectations is stretching it a bit too much....
but actual data came out better than previous despite bad weather (yesterday's release of retail sales looks into the retail sales performance of US domestic sales in the period of March. so weather still playing a factor in it... but despite the bad weather. we see a nice bottom and reversing pattern on the US data front.
so expect April to be a nice pickup. to fuel the USD strength once again.

but man if EURUSD found hard resistance to fall from 1.1 to 1.05 and then found buyers to push it from 1.05 up to 1.0650.... 150 pips is nothing....
I would've expected buyers to have more juice to push to 1.08 or 1.09 so I could sell but sheesh it sure isn't looking good for euro...

I've 7 or so tabs on EU, 5 or so JPY, 3 each of gold/silver/oil, all of which I change constantly

we are going higher chicky. we could have gone to as high as 1.0720 had it not been for the greece news but sooner or later markets will start ignoring greece. it has become a cry cry baby.

you can never ignore Greece buddy, if Greece does end up leaving Eurozone it puts question markets on the legitimacy of euro....
if one member can leave that freely then surely other members who feel they are being exploited in Eurozone may leave too,
it sparks a confidence issue on the Euro, so if Greece does leave. parity wont be the bottom man.... the entire fundamentals of euro would be in question.
